Jay and I have decided that before we write a SINGLE line of code for our next project, weβre going to:
1. Nail the customer segment
2. Pinpoint the exact problem they're dealing with
3. Secure a paying client
No code until we complete these 3 steps!
#buildinpublic
We're shifting gears to focus on our website analytics background and help website owners!
If you own a website, share with us the areas you're looking to enhance on your site. #buildinpublic#indiehackers#Website
Brace yourselves for this genius move: Instead of building first, we've decided to find customers before we build! π€―
Who here in #buildinpublic has done this? Any tips?
@tpedler Yeah conversion is tough! We faced something similar with https://t.co/lZfguE4jB7. Barrier to entry for joining a mailing list is pretty small, but is very high for actually using/buying the product
@marcusglaze Having a rough idea of what the service youβre offering and really focusing on the customer segment youβre targeting.
If thereβs a match, the customer would have no choice but to use your product!

The capacity and feature demands created unsustainable technical and financial debt.
Thank you for the support during our first #buildinpublic product. As we reflect on the end of this idea, we're looking into new ones. Stay tuned!
@kumailht just launched our alpha for https://t.co/lZfguE3LLz and definitely trying to get more people to try it out! anything you got would be appreciated!
