My life, like most people’s, shrank with the 1st lock down. And I accepted it, assuming it was temporary. But then, of course, it wasn’t.

I know my life will grow again, but its clear it will never return to the size and shape it was. I think that’s why this week feels hard.

This 2nd Christmas in a pandemic is more frustrating and heartbreaking than the first. Having a toddler who cant be vaccinated, it’s like 2020 for us, but the rest of the world has moved on. It feels like watching the holiday through a window while the little ones are forgotten.
