@one_skeptical@athiestboi Not necessarily. He knows what is going to happen but we don't know so there is now influence of that. He has foreknowledge but we don't actually know for certain how that works because it's so vast for us to comprehend. He could know the outcome of each choice and how it leads
@one_skeptical@athiestboi That's fair. I don't particularly love that one either. Have you tried the Reason for God by Timothy Keller? Or anything my Josh McDowell?
@one_skeptical@athiestboi It's like him being able to see the end result of a painting but we have the ability to choose how that painting comes to be. We get to choose what parts we do first and what brush strokes we use where. Or we can choose to reject him completely and just not make the painting.
@one_skeptical@athiestboi Start with the Case for Christ by Lee Strobel and Mere Christianity by CS Lewis. Even if they don't change your mind they're good reads.
@one_skeptical@athiestboi He isn't forcing you to choose either. He knows what the end picture is and we have the ability to choose which way we go about getting to that point (if we choose to accept him). He's omniscient so he sees past present and future at the same time while we see sequentially.
@one_skeptical@athiestboi I was an atheist for a long time. He put obstacles in my way over and over again and I kept choosing the wrong one. Eventually I picked the right one and my life has been better ever since. And what have I got to lose?
@ctlansdown@EdLatimore My daughter had inappropriate comments made by a man while she was in the bathroom with her dad. My husband said something but he didn't escalate because he had our young daughters with him but he said he doesn't feel safe having them in there with him now and I agree.
@EdLatimore My 5 yo daughter had very inappropriate comments made about her by a man in the men's room while with her dad. She will not be going in there again. When she's a teenager and she sees a dad in there helping his young daughters, she can either wait until they are done or go in.
@one_skeptical@athiestboi Yes. We can either choose the way he has planned for us or reject him but because he is all knowing he knows the outcomes of our choices and can lead us back to him when we stray or make bad choices. We can continue to reject him or we can accept him.
@Blahblahblaghgg@PotluckLauren Well, it stayed for years and I was tired of walking around looking gross when I was working my butt off. Could have just fixed my hormones to begin with and not struggled for years.
@c_h_e_m@JoshAnimator The little girls' safety is the most important part of this. Honestly, the adults don't matter. My kid's were harassed in the men's room with their dad. If he calls out and asks if he can come in it's fine. If a woman doesn't like it, she can wait until they're done,
@JoshAnimator My husband took my kids in once and a man, using the urinal, told my husband and our 5 year old daughter she was "beautiful and would have all the men chasing her in a few years" so, no, I don't want my young girls surrounded by men in the bathroom.
@ProLifeLiz Early morning play, water tables, freeze toys in ice and have him rescue them, car washes with some mud or paint and a clean bucket of water and soap, water painting on concrete, chalk paint. I live in the SW and it gets hot so we do early mornings or evenings or water play.
