The Prophet ﷺ said: “A man must never be alone with a woman unless she has a mahram with her, and she cannot make a journey except with a mahram.” A man said: “My wife has left for Hajj and I have enlisted for battle.” He ﷺ said: “Go and make Hajj with your wife.” Muslim, 1341.

Be good to your daughters and sisters, honour them and give them their rights. The Prophet ﷺ said: “No one has three daughters or three sisters and is good to them except that he will enter Paradise.” (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad #79, sahīh)
Imām Al-Albānī said: “It was Islām that raised the Arabs, saved them from paganism and brought them to Tawhīd—took them out of the darkness into the light, and from misguidance to guidance. Upon its pure understanding Islām will give honour, might, and aid to the Muslims.”
Allah (the Most High) said:
“And hasten to the forgiveness of your Lord, and to Paradise as wide as the heavens and earth prepared for the righteous. Those who spend during times of ease and hardship—who restrain anger and pardon people. And Allah loves the doers of good.” (Āli ‘Imrān 134-135).

Sighting the Moon for the Start of Ramadān and for ‘Eid: What if Cloud-cover Prevents that?
Is it allowed to use Moon Phase Calculations for Ramadān for Unity’s Sake?
The onset of Ramadān is known by only two methods: either through the sighting of the new moon or by completing thirty days of Sha’bān. There is no third way.
So, those who proclaim to the people and make announcements calling to accept their predications―and they cast doubts in those who have sighted the moon and claim that whoever sighted it has opposed the view of the astronomers because “it was not possible for the moon to have sighted on a particular night”―then all of this is from their ignorance of Islam and the revelation, and they speak without knowledge. It is a must they are refuted, and their opinions rejected because they are playing with the religion of Allah. (Shaikh al-Fawzān)

Niyyah for Fasting is each night before Fajr.
Question: Is it correct for a person to fast the whole of Ramadān based upon a single intention?
Answer by Shaikh al-Fawzān: No. Each day is a distinct act of worship so the intention is made before Fajr for each day. The meaning of intention is that you intended to fast that day. By virtue of you taking the pre-dawn meal (suhoor), this proves that you’ve made an intention [for that day]. The place of the intention is in the heart so if you got up for suhoor or sat to eat the suhoor, then that is proof that you had an intent [to fast]. — End.
Note: The intention is not to be spoken—that is a bid’ah. The place of niyyah is in the heart simply by intending that you will fast the next day.
