@stefanoscalia Pier 80 just hosted @PortolaFestival, a phenomenal location. Few noise restrictions. Large open level asphalt means easy set up and no dust. Waterfront brings in cool fresh air all day. Transportation is lacking and there are no water views. Aside from the crane and ship vibes.

In college, I was taught that the Friday before Labor Day is when big corps, gov, and politicians dump unflattering, but required public disclosures, praying they get lost in the holiday shuffle. I wonder if that’s still true and if anything good was released today?

@Richkhid132 When I was a kid growing up near LA in the 90s, I had many blue-collar family members living in cheap apts throughout LA. My aunt (a seamstress) paid $500 for a 2bd in WeHo. Same apt, 4500 today. I struggle to understand why the ~10x increase in rent???
