@jens_lund@NatMetabolism You mention not being very familiar with human research and lactate infusions. @GeorgeABrooks3 has been performing lactate clamps (blood lactate kept at 4+ mM) for multiple hours, since the early 2000’s. Yet we take into effect tonicity and show no ill effects from these clamps.
