Time to update the pinned post a bit.

I'm Willem, a systems engineer from the Netherlands. My wife is from Thailand, and we're working towards leaving the 9-5 behind and moving there together.
That probably won't happen because of one lucky launch, so I'm taking it one app at a time: building useful products, putting them in front of real people, learning from what breaks and trying again.

Right now I'm working on three products:
• Veldo helps Mac developers find better keywords and improve their App Store visibility.
• Solenta gives coding agents shared memory, a GitHub-backed planboard and one place to run Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Kimi, Grok and OpenCode. It is completely free and open source.
• Girder is a deployment platform I'm building to make shipping apps less annoying.
Girder is still being tested. I'm using it for my own projects, and a small group of test users is helping me find the rough edges.

I share the whole process here: launches, bugs, wrong decisions, small wins and the reality of building after a 9-5. There will probably be plenty of coffee and complaints about the Netherlands weather along the way too.

@komal_uk01 at least 48GB when running on the machine itself but i have started running agents on a linux desktop and with offloading around 16GB is enough for most usecases

It's finally the weekend!

No 9-5 for the next two days, so I've got some time to work on my own projects again.

Got a few updates I want to finish, some things I want to experiment with and hopefully a bit of time to actually relax as well.

Although knowing me, relaxing will probably involve opening my MacBook and doing some coding 😂

Just pushed Mimir 0.6.1! 🔧

This one is a small hotfix for the permissions system.

You no longer have to approve every little thing your AI assistants want to do. You can now enable "Don't ask me first" for a bot and let it get on with its work.

And if you click "Always" when approving an action, Mimir will actually remember that choice from now on 

I've also included a quick video showing how easy it is to set up bot with a routine in Mimir.

@rvgdev I have a similar setup its not a vm but the machine has a ups with it so the few power outages i do get here are taken care of
