The further into this election period we get (has it really only been a few days??) the more I can see that this snap election is a slap in the face to everyone who has been struggling over the past 4 years. #peipoli

@MarkPEI@PEIGuardian That sounds the same as what I said: you agree that people should be informed but you disagree on the proposed action.
Can you help me understand the subtle nuance that I'm missing?
@MarkPEI@PEIGuardian I think I'm starting to get it.
You agree that an important issue was raised and that the community should be informed of candidate's positions.
You *disagree* with the solution suggested by the domain expert interviewed by the paper.
Is that right?
@MarkPEI@PEIGuardian Shouldn't voters be informed? I assume some voters were not at the meeting. Reading about it in the paper is a good way to get informed.
@MarkPEI@PEIGuardian They showed a fundamental lack of understanding of a topic core to the position they are running for.
That seems to warrant drawing some public attention.
Went to see Blade last night at City Cinemas in downtown Charlottetown. If you love movies, you should really go see one there.
The room is intimate, with limited seating. The picture and sound are flawless.
@Doctorcreative@SketchesbyBoze I had the same question. Fortunately one of the replies has interior pictures including a directory poster https://t.co/WwjYwi409U
We had a tow bar fitted to our @Tesla Model Y by a reputable company but apparently the car needs a software update to tow. Tesla are refusing to enable "Trailer Mode" because they didn't fit the tow bar.
So the default mode for an academic is to do not much except prop up and ensure the smooth functioning of the present social order. That is a de facto conservative, whatever we may tell ourselves about how ever so radical we are. I do think there are exceptions!
This thread is worth reading. @ChtownMutualAid stepped up and helped the local community, with very little official support.
I missed the live presentation but there's good information in the thread.
Three of our core members will be presenting at the Standing Committee on Education and Economic Growth re: Hurricane Fiona response.
