@Aquae_Sq@XVanquished@RealJohnRose@Blokeofthemen Thatโs a very good sustem and probably protects against far left and far right movements which at their core require undemocratic means to gain power.
@WilliamTaborDDS@simonmaechling@elonmusk Donโt get me wrong but I remain skeptical of that because the reality is the police, military and armed part of the US populace leans mostly right and probably would never come to blows. Those left of center are either unarmed or lone idiots.
@simonmaechling@elonmusk Two things can be insane at the same time. No need to resort to whataboutism.
The US has a gun violence problem and the UK has a free speech problem.
@a_simple_bowman@HaIoFox Wish there was a party that was socially conservative but against things like usury. Historically that was Catholics but they kinda slipped.
@PeterSchiff I mean you are kind of pointing out the obvious here, but the bigger the consequences of losing are, the more inviting an option a ground invasion becomes. At a certain point the bloody option gets picked because no US president, even a Democrat, would surrender to Iran.
@ChristianHeiens This probably means bottom 2-10% the bottom 1% is mostly people in wheelchairs eating through a tube and unless you want to pull the plug on them Iโm guessing you means sociopathic criminals.
Those can be the bottom 2-10% but they show up at higher income levels as well.
@0bservationism@hungryhungryhhh@ChristianHeiens When we say top 1% we mean by income so if bottom 1% is by income itโs mostly just people in long term care (Brain damaged or born so disabled they require lifetime care) Even the most sketchy criminals probably have had a few jobs.
I think you mean the bottom 2-10%
