🌟 Join Me on a Journey to Deeper Connections 🌟
Hey there, friends! 👋 I'm Hugo, and I've been on a remarkable 17-year journey with my high school sweetheart, @cvasquez3955.
Through the ups and downs, we've discovered the true essence of relationships – from love for ourselves to understanding each other's perspectives. 🌍💑
In my latest blog post, I'm opening up about how self-love and empathy transformed our lives, both personally and professionally. It's a story of growth, connection, and the power of meaningful relationships.
Curious to dive in? Read the full blog post and share this journey with me.
📖 Let's build stronger connections together! 💪❤️
For most of my life, I've been overweight.
In the picture on the left, I was at 248 lbs.
My doctor hit me with the hard truth – I was morbidly obese.
Tried all sorts of diets, lost some weight, and bam! It always came right back.
Hit the gym, and got some muscles, but that body fat just wouldn’t go away.
After years of this back and forth, it hit me – diet and exercise alone weren’t cutting it.
I needed more than that.
I needed a team.
That’s when Jeff Eschliman and I kicked off Team 212. We weren’t playing around.
We set goals every quarter, met up weekly with our team, and checked in every single day.
Support and Accountability were our mantra.
Fast forward to now, as I’m about to hit the big 40.
Got my DexaFit Dx body scan earlier this year and, man, was I blown away. Body fat down to 18% - that’s cool.
But the most shocking part – my biological age was 31. That’s nine years off my real age!
So here’s the thing – if you’re struggling to hit your goals, remember, it’s not a solo gig.
Find your tribe, your accountability squad. It’s a game-changer. Trust me, with the right people in your corner, you’re unstoppable.
Let’s go get those goals!
This is my dog Zelda. She’s my walking buddy.
She keeps me active and moving. And she’s super fluffy!
I love Zelda!
Do you have a walking buddy? Share pics! I wanna see.
This is an MRI image of 3 people:
The top is a 40 year old triathlete.
The middle is a 74 year old sedentary person.
The bottom is a 70 year old triathlete.
The dark part is the muscle and the light part is the fat.
What you see is that a 70 year old may be able to retain the same amount of muscle and bone density as a 40 year old if maintained through exercise.
If not, then you suffer the fate of the 74 year old sedentary person.
The lesson? You either use it or lose it.
Stay active and train consistently to live a long and prosperous life.
