@BryanLlenas I have defended defendants in criminal trials (nowhere near the level of what is going on in this Clancy Trial) and even in those cases I can tell you that there is nothing like having someone else's liberty dependent on everything you do - I dont begrudge him 1 bit

@BryanLlenas You are so good! Unless there's something I'm not hearing the judges re-reading of the beyond a reasonable doubt standard didnt address that standard as it relates to the insanity defense .. I thought that was interesting ... I feel like there was more in that note

@willcain Good lord Will - where have you been? We've been dealing w/this crazy Massachusetts insanity defense burden shifting since the beginning of this case - yes the prosecution has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Clancy (was) insane at the time of the killings ...

@WillCain Casey's reaction while admirable is emotional - we're trying to analyze the element of intent (at the time) of the killings - we can't assess that based on what Clancey knows now - this is a trial based on the rule of law...

@HARRISFAULKNER Harris Karmelo Anthony's mtn for new trial will most likely not be granted - I've conducted many trials in Texas - I have always had to shuffle the venire just to get to the few blacks that showed up for jury duty to the front - we don't show up for jury duty ...
