What is the name of the network tool that changes and maps source addresses of client requests for client anonymity?
A. A router
B. A gateway
C. A proxy
D. A firewall
There can’t be.
Men in our part of the world have a big problem publicly admitting that their wives earn more or that they earn the same, so even the wives will have to lie to protect men’s ego.
Very few egalitarian-principled nigerian married couples will openly share this truth.
In this video, 14 couples were interviewed.
Women earned more in 36% of the surveyed
Men earned more in 43% of the surveyed
Couple had equal earnings in 21% of the surveyed.
Going by this video survey alone (which is not enough data by the way) it means there are lesser marriages where men out-earn women.
While this isn’t currently the case in Nigeria yet, it’s increasingly happening that women are out earning men but can neither publicly admit this nor publicly take the praise for financially contributing.
E.g a married woman will buy her car and say her husband bought it for her. This is still interpreted as humility and largely accepted in our society.
A video like this openly sharing true figures will break more marriages than infidelity in Nigeria, if the woman earns more.
These are deep cultural issues.
A replay attack is when an attacker captures and resends (replays) authenticated messages.
An IPSec VPN can prevent a replay
attack because it tracks packet sequencing and includes the sender's signature on all packets; therefore preventing forged packages.
C. Use IPSec VPN ✅

The One OSI Layer That Controls Everything You Do Online! 👀”
Most people think Ethernet networks are all about speed, cables, and routers. But even with perfect hardware, your internet experience can still be terrible. Why? Because Layer 7 (the Application Layer) is where everything actually happens.
No matter how good your network is, if Layer 7 fails, your apps, websites, and online services will break.
⸻
🔹 What Does Layer 7 Do?
Layer 7 is the interface between humans and the network. It ensures that data is not just sent and received, but actually understood and displayed correctly.
🔑 Key Functions of Layer 7:
✅ Application Protocols – Manages how apps interact with the network (e.g., HTTP, FTP, DNS, SMTP).
✅ User Requests & Responses – Handles website loading, email sending, and cloud interactions.
✅ Encryption & Security – Uses protocols like HTTPS & TLS to protect data.
✅ Data Formatting & Compression – Ensures files, videos, and messages are properly encoded.
💡 Think of Layer 7 as the waiter in a restaurant. You (the user) place an order (a request), and Layer 7 ensures the right food (data) is prepared and served correctly.
⸻
🔸 How Does Layer 7 Affect an Ethernet Network?
Even if your Ethernet connection is flawless, Layer 7 issues can make your experience frustrating:
🔹 Website not loading? Could be a DNS issue at Layer 7.
🔹 Slow streaming? Compression and data handling might be inefficient.
🔹 Login issues? The app’s authentication system could be broken.
💡 Takeaway: Ethernet is just the transport layer—it’s Layer 7 that makes the internet usable!
⸻
🚨 The Security Problem No One Talks About
Most cyberattacks don’t target Ethernet cables—they target Layer 7 vulnerabilities in apps and services!
🔺 DDoS Attacks – Overload Layer 7 servers to crash websites.
🔺 Man-in-the-Middle Attacks – Exploit unencrypted HTTP traffic.
🔺 API Exploits – Hackers manipulate poorly secured web services.
💡 If you only focus on firewalls and routers, but ignore Layer 7 security, you’re wide open to attacks!
⸻
🚀 Final Thoughts
Layer 7 is where you actually interact with the internet. If it’s misconfigured, your network can feel slow, broken, or insecure— even if Ethernet is working fine.

On a BYOD model, which of these technologies is best suited to keep corporate data and applications separate from personal?
A. Biometrics
B. Full-device encryption
C. Context-aware authentication
D. Containerization
Had a fantastic practical session on ARP spoofing today. It's a whole different level of understanding when you see the theory in motion. Really solidifies how these network vulnerabilities can be exploited.
