@INArteCarloDoss I'm a bit surprised there isn't more discussion about the various ways the France banks-bonds-politics-ECB-IMF nexus might pan out.
When it was all about the PIIGS discussion was wall-to-wall.
Where is it happening?
@robin_j_brooks "...if periphery spreads keep widening..." is a bit 'the last war' isn't it?
France is almost as central as Germany - and arguably both are sliding into populist right-wing governance.
@DhavalVJoshi@DavidTavadian Have you tried to reconcile it with the Central Bank's view?
Here's a more general point. If you, by comparison the US, genarally bank finance (France) you use savings to generate corp bank debt. Counting debt gives you a one-sided view, doesn't it?
@RaconteurR2D2 Why shouldn't we just think: That's effectively what already happens in maths except the experts who's expertise basically no one else can understand aren't machines?
@INArteCarloDoss gld seems to have ignored 10y reals & gone crazy parabolic for 2 yrs from early '24.
Behaving again last 6 mths but in contexte of v high price range.
But does that pocketed divergence => at odds over inflation path, $ FX risk, or what?
@physicsgeek Seems really bizarre the way what should be a careful police investigation and potential jury trial is routinely argued over in public by politicians, as if they were prosecuting or defence lawyers trying to sell a point of view to a jury.
How does it not prejudice any trial?
@OwenCallan It's classic stuff. They should forget selling for spares, get the necessary welding done, put fresh petrol in and see if they can restart https://t.co/ipdANpiVCb
@BGatesIsaPyscho Why are you desperate for that to be true?
How could 3 basically empty vans and a handful of guys with no weapons be the biggest terrorist attack in British history?
@LeeHarris Why do you want to believe it's insane in capital letters?
It might be INSANE it's not occurred to you the 5 people arrested might be petty criminals with no idea what was going on just hired to go and lurk around there.
