@pierceboggan@code Nice! I’ve grown fond of request queuing and mid-conversation steering in non-copilot tools but I feel like copilot’s per-user-message pricing model doesn’t lend itself to that mode of higher-frequency interaction. Will queued messages still consume premium requests as per usual?

@mitsuhiko@getsentry what ends up happening is that parallel promises end up looking like a chain of operations rather than independent parallel spans, and the active span after the parallel await is not the correct ambient span but one of the (finished!) spans from the parallel promises
@mitsuhiko@getsentry one annoying papercut I’ve found is in the (async) scope management in sentry’s node client. The “active” span is effectively a global that is managed explicitly which gives misleading results when combined with parallelism (e.g. Promise.all())

@Hixie@mitchellh 1000% whilst I can’t even imagine a world where hixie is on the wrong side of anything, it shouldn’t be a foregone conclusion when a greybeard puts forward a proposition. We only know that to which we’ve been exposed 🙂
