people want you to do well, when you go on a date that person wants it to go well so they can stop dating. when you interview for a job they want it to go well so they can finally hire someone. people want to watch, read, hear and experience good things. we’re rooting for you
Not only is it never too late to massively turn your life around, everyone wants you to
It’s easy to get caught up in shame and feel like you can’t admit your problems to the people in your life, but they generally know something is off even if they don’t know the details
And (generally, not without exception) they’re waiting for you to turn things around & will welcome you back warmly when it happens
love asking people:
- what their “endgame” is
- what they’re borderline overconfident about
- what they’d want to do if they knew they’d be successful at it
- what their fighting style is
- what outfit they’d wear everyday if no one would notice they repeated
- what they mindlessly collect
- what their favorite time of day is (the literal time, like 12:34 pm)
- what their alter ego is
- what traits they share / don’t share with their parents or siblings
- what it usually takes people a long time to figure out about them
i’m just gonna say it: some of yall aren’t qualified for self checkout. if you don’t have an internal sense of urgency and fine motor skills, leave it to the professionals cause the rest of us are trying to keep it pushin
just realized that my cringe awkward vulnerable moments and failures are directly tied to my ability to create, build, attract and achieve. cause all of it is rooted in courage to express myself and follow my instincts
