@CoreyB08 I doubt it played out exactly like you suggest

[JT Stan @d63658]

@AdamTaylorNBA Just your post in general made very little sense. Literally what’s recorded on the box score is what happens on the court and the awards are given based on what actually is earned on the court.

[JT Stan @d63658]

@AdamTaylorNBA I thought Tatum probably should have won FMVP but ultimately it’s a team sport so I’m just happy for whoever wins it when my team wins a title. I’m not gonna pretend that a players career accolades should be diminished over cherry picked statistics. They earned it on the court

[JT Stan @d63658]

@AdamTaylorNBA Box score numbers and awards are won by what happens on the floor obviously. Which awards do we just decide mean nothing? FMVP , AllNBA , all star etc. they won the award because of what actually happened on the floor.

[JT Stan @d63658]

@AdamTaylorNBA How do you think awards are won and box score stats are accumulated?

[JT Stan @d63658]

@Cerrone_Battle Guy has a top 6 mvp finish in a salary dump tank season.Guys ego gets inflated more has demands on extension and role. Organization has enough trades him to divisional rival, #1 could care less doesn’t back him. Guy is supposed to just get over it and have no issue W/ it 🙄

@dirtyzickes @Drewdle25 @sportsgram57 @Scalabrine Get off your burner account son

[JT Stan @d63658]

@TheDunkCentral Scal has always been a joke and took the place of a legend Tommy heinsohn . He needs to check himself

[JT Stan @d63658]

@sportsgram57 @Drewdle25 @Scalabrine I found it distasteful as well. But it didn’t really bother me that much. I understand where you are coming from and it’s a valid point. Scal was talking out of pocket adding to the drama and drew trying to be funny at JBs expense. This is between Jaylen management and JT

[JT Stan @d63658]

@Drewdle25 @sportsgram57 @Scalabrine Check yourself, you’re a commentator that was very fortunate to take the place of a legend

[JT Stan @d63658]

@AdamTaylorNBA not picking any sides personally.Right now it’s nothing more than playful banter. They traded him to Phi so now the JT vs JB storyline continues on for years to come. It’s unavoidable now. I always felt that JB issues was w/ organization and probably said trade me , unofficially

[JT Stan @d63658]

@SplashNCrash @itsGeorgeyy Reg szn efficiency don’t really mean all that people pretend it does. Many players shrink in the playoffs and numbers tank. JB a flawed player for sure , most are. But he was great for many years and they wouldn’t have that title w/out him Certainly weren’t worth new extension

[JT Stan @d63658]

@SplashNCrash @itsGeorgeyy After all that …he clearly not 1 but to pretend titles don’t matter, accolades don’t matter is just ludicrous. This people that think they big brain but lose the point. Nothing will ever take away from him being a vital two way part of a title. Made hella clutch buckets too

[JT Stan @d63658]

@SplashNCrash @itsGeorgeyy What about titles though? Or finals appearances for those matter? If he’s such a net negative then you’d think that would have hurt the team a lot more in terms of winning or going deep into the playoffs

[JT Stan @d63658]

@GoodmanHoops What’s better though really? Fighting for their life to get to the second round? There’s too many roleplayer level guys on this squad. Overdue for a consolidation trade to get more top end talent. George is the 2nd best player here and that says a lot about the roster

[JT Stan @d63658]

@CelticsForum0 You must be some basketball savant. 😏 No reason to hate on Jaylen brown, he was a great Celtic

[JT Stan @d63658]

@celtics_weekly You can only put 5 guys on the court . Top end talent wins titles not players 10-13 . That being said the roster is well set up to make a consolidation trade to get someone of JB caliber that Tatum is comfortable sharing the court with
