@seanw_m the work in the "photo" also looks like shit. he supposedly got fooled by a fake photo displaying unacceptable work. meaning he failed to do his one job twice.
@mindyisser this guy who shares all of my politics actually has no real ideas of any kind and, when you think about it, is also responsible for most of the things we’re all complaining about.
@andybliu Correct. A force out (a runner failing to reach a base in time that is their only base option) negates the timing of the other runner crossing home. A non force out (tagging a base runner that has options) would have to occur before the other runner crosses the plate.
@PotCzach The greatest. I like the kid but this is homage, not proximate genius. Look at the final position of the landing foot. Look at how Tim sits down into that back arch, keeping his eyes on home throughout the whole motion. The balance required for each is worlds apart.
The utility of the frontier is that it can be projected into infinity, and the farther out the line, the easier it is to ignore more proximate social obligations and to forego imagining a positive agenda to realize the general welfare.
