An Indian left his job in India and joined as a salesman in a big departmental store in Canada !!
On the first day, the Indian worked with full josh.
At 6 pm.....
Boss :- "How much of sales did you do on the first day?"
Indian : "Sir, I attended to 1 Sales call."
Boss : "Only 1 sale the whole day? Usually every salesman here does 20 to 30 Sale transactions a day. Well, tell me what is the value of your today's one sale?"
Indian : "$93300....!"
Boss : "What?? Unbelievable! But how did you do that?"
Indian : "Sir, 1 customer came in and I sold him a small fishing hook. Then a mazola and then finally sold a big hook. Then I sold him 1 big fishing rod and some fishing gear..."
"Then I asked him where does he go to catch fish and he said to the coastal area...."
"Then I said to him that he would need a boat. So I took him down to the boat department and sold him a 20 ft double engine schooner boat."
"When he said the boat won't come in his Volkswagen, I took him to the auto mobile section and sold him the new Deluxe 4 x 4 blazer to carry the boat."
"And when I asked him where he would be going fishing ??? He didn't plan anything. So I took him to the camping section and sold him a six sleeper camper tent."
"And then he took groceries worth $200 and 2 cases of beer....!"
Now the boss took 2 steps back and asked :- "You sold all this to a person who came just to buy only 1 fish hook???"
Indian : "NO, SIR... He actually came in to Buy 1 Tablet For his Headache.... I explained to him that 'Fishing' is the Best Way to Get Rid of Headaches!!"
Boss : "Where did you work before ???"
Indian : "I was a PRO in a private hospital in India. For any patient who would come in for any 'Minor Complaint', we get the Patient Tested for Pathology, ECO, ECG, TMT, CT SCAN, X-Ray, MRI etc."
Boss : "Will You please sit in my chair?. I shall go to India and join a Private Hospital for Training."

The govt claimed during demonetization that they want to reduce the use of cash and turn India into a cashless society. But that doesn't seem to apply to political parties.
Parties and candidates standing for elections spend more than the permissible amount, but in cash or via proxies. The EC has admitted that it can't catch such candidates because they spend in cash.
If you want to reduce cash in politics and elections, just make a simple amendment saying 'cash spending by candidates during elections amounts to corruption'.
Instead of doing that, they have brought electoral bonds to donate to parties anonymously.

**MUST READ**
I was interviewed by @janeborges9 for @mid_day regarding science-based medicine and Ayush practices in the wake of my recent suspension from Twitter (X).
I have few points to clarify about this report and my interview.
The final report has become a "Brandolini's Law" kind of situation for me.
"The Bullshit Asymmetry Principle, also known as Brandoliniโs Law, states that the amount of energy needed to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude bigger than that needed to produce it."
I was dissapointed to see that the feature included multiple Ayurveda and Homeopathy practitioners who have very conviniently, used the medium to burden the readers with more misinformation on diagnosis and treatments for various diseases.
I am not sure why there is even a debate on this - scientific medicine vs. pseudoscientific medicine.
There is no debate. It is plain and clear that scientific medicine is the closest we come to truths in healthcare and pseudoscience like Ayush is a distraction that is fuelled by weak anecdotes, appeal to tradition, culture and antiquity and embraces the business of healthcare and not art of patient care.
It is like inviting Hamas or Hezbollah or ISIS terrorists to the United Nations and asking their view points on world peace. It is absurd.
Health reporters, please do not give undeserving credit or a seat at the table, to pseudoscience peddlers, in a serious interview or healthcare report, if you really wish to inform the public on right to healthcare.
One of the Ayurveda practitioner interviewed was only looking to sell their quackery business (Gynoveda) through this interview, while another white-washes Ayurvedic pseudoscience with anecdotes and personal experiences.
The Homeopath has no idea what is being discussed. She goes on to say, "People are prescribing ridiculous dosages without following the set principles of homeopathyโ
- I dont get this. Homeopathy is itself so ridiculous and ridiculous dosing means either ridiculous amount of water, sugar or alcohol. Such instances go without rebuttals in this interview. I do not even know why mainstream media must interview Homeopaths regarding anything remotely related to healthcare. They dont know anything about human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology. They still believe in magic.
@mid_day has also supported chemophobia (fearmongering general public on "synthetic chemicals") through this article.
The New-York based Vaidya (not doctor), Nidhi Pandya blatantly says, "in the last 10 years alone, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which is responsible for protecting public health by ensuring the safety, efficacy and security of human and veterinary drugs, has had more than 14,000 drug recalls. This means that they were initially considered โsafeโ for use, before being recalled. Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old science, which is also time-tested. And while there may be concerns about who is using it, how itโs being administered and processed, weโve never really seen a case, in all these years, of a particular substance thatโs deemed to be absolutely unsafe to the point that itโs banned.โ
Really?
Did this report even go into details of this claim on no ban on Ayurvedic supplements?
[1] European Union ban on Ayurvedic Medicines - https://t.co/fLfR6lhLj4 & https://t.co/gyj3jbssvu
[2] Banned -- Select: "a drug to alter the sex of the foetus" - https://t.co/9SLIHOJ8Rg
[3] Canada bans ayurvedic drugs - https://t.co/cFzgSbTZUX
[4] Singapore bans ayurveda products from India, UK alerts public - https://t.co/EgRpA6LMlI

[6] Uttarakhand bans five 'drugs' made by Patanjali - https://t.co/8hZwdN7r64
[7] โAyurvedicโ pills banned after steroids found in them - https://t.co/Ol3iKtVo1i
- Drug recalls in scientific medicine, happen as part of phase IV clinical trials for safeguarding public health and patient safety. It is one of the most important aspects of scientific medicine and showcases maturity of the science-based practice, and is not a weakness. Ayurveda has no clinical trials to back up efficacy or safety and the largest upcoming cause for acute liver injury in the West is herbal drugs while the commonest cause of drug-induced liver failure in cirrhosis patients in East is herbals. None of these clarifications are provided in the report.
The Ayurveds, driven by cognitive failure keeps talking about how they diagnose conditions "holistically" through Vata, Pita, Kapha
- I mean a newspaper putting statements on obsolete humoral theories in 2023 shows how regressive this country still is, when it comes to scientific temperament.
The Homeopath is just delusional in this interview. She says, "This alternative therapy, she believes, can be used to treat everything from a common cold to cancers (of earlier stages). But ER physicians are recommended for emergencies and surgery-related cases."
- this is called cognitive dissonance 101.
Cognitive dissonance is "a mental conflict that occurs when your beliefs don't line up with your actions. It's an uncomfortable state of mind when someone has contradictory values, attitudes, or perspectives about the same thing."
Even after repeated and ongoing attempts at telling people and especially the media, not to use the term Allopathy for scientific medicine, it features full on in the title. Health reporters, please do not use this term again. In this interview I have already discussed what Allopathy is and it still featured in the headline, erroneously synonymous with science-based medicine.
I will leave it to the reader (you) "to separate the wheat from the chaff" in this very chaotic report.

A person asks Sadhguru, โHow much weight training exercise do you recommend?โ
And Sadhguru answers, โWeight training is not useful, but do 25-50 Surya-Namaskars, it is complete exercise.โ
First of all, I am not sure why anyone would ask someone like Sadhguru, who is most of the time, in another dimension, a question on exercise and weight training.
And secondly, Sadhguru is just plain wrong.
Weight (or strength) training is one of the most important aspects of exercise regimen you can include in your daily or 3-4 times a week physical activity because there is great science behind its benefits.
I advise my obese or sarcopenic (very poor muscle mass in advanced liver disease) patients to include weight training to improve clinical outcomes.
The highest level of scientific evidence showed that standard muscle-strengthening activities were associated with lower risk of death in patients with non-communicable diseases โ including cardiovascular disease, diabetes and lung cancer.
Another metanalysis showed strong evidence for a considerable risk reduction of strength training for 60 minutes a week, on all-cause death (โ15%), cardiovascular disease death (โ19%), and cancer death (โ14%). See here: https://t.co/7nscSRuNvI here https://t.co/GdUuivwXut
Sadhguru says the older we get, the better we do not weight train. He is again absolutely wrong.
The findings of another systematic review/metanalysis support power (strength) training as an effective therapeutic intervention for improving physical function in adults diagnosed with frailty (poor physical function in old age) and patients with chronic medical conditions. See here: https://t.co/ZvuOUDZWvP
In fact, another study on strength training, this one again a metanalysis, concluded that strength training interventions can be used as a non-drug treatment for hypertension (!), as they promote significant decreases in blood pressure. See here: https://t.co/VaM7wZiA0k
Strength training also reduces significantly, chronic inflammation as shown in another high quality systematic review and meta-analysis. See here: https://t.co/pcjaJvYpTN
Resistance/Strength training improved muscle mass and muscle strength, thereby improving performance status. Improved performance status is a wonderful benchmark for an active and healthy life. See here: https://t.co/gQGenbBZRq
Even in fatty liver disease, independent of weight loss, exercise training was associated with 3 and a half times more meaningful treatment response towards lowering liver fat. Strength training is a powerful tool to maintain liver health. See here: https://t.co/0ApZp5nBG9 and here https://t.co/tckpJ2AsV5
Now Surya Namaskar.
Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutation is a sequence of around twelve yoga poses connected by jumping or stretching movements, varying somewhat between various Yoga schools โ which means, it has no regulation or standardization unlike weight training.
In Iyengar Yoga there is a way, in Ashtanga Vinayasa Yoga there is Type A and B and there are other types followed by other schools or Yoga teachers. Along with the stretching and jumping, which is done is a slow and steady manner, the practice includes chanting a โmantraโ calling out twelve names of the Sun God.
In its classical form, Surya Namaskar is not an exercise, and is not aerobic. The energy cost of exercise is measured in units of metabolic equivalent of task (MET). Less than 3 METs counts as light exercise; 3 to 6 METs is moderate; 6 or over is vigorous. American College of Sports Medicine and American Heart Association guidelines count periods of at least 10 minutes of moderate MET level activity towards their recommended daily amounts of exercise. For healthy adults aged 18 to 65, the guidelines recommend moderate exercise for 30 minutes five days a week, or vigorous aerobic exercise for 20 minutes three days a week.
Surya Namaskar in its classical form has a measly 2.9 METs and in its rigorous form (some people perform mutated highly active forms of Surya Namaskar to make it feel like an exercise) can go up to 7.4 METs โ which requires a lot of jumping and little stretching and no time to chant the Sun God names - does not even come close to strength training by any margin.
Those who are part of the Surya Namaskar and Yoga cult would provide anecdotal experiences on its benefits (please see comment section) through non-classical forms and would call it an โexhilarating experience.โ Experiences are not scientific, evidence are. Many Yoga journals and some dubious and third rate Ayurveda journals have also have published on such experiences in small group of patients, which are not validated or published in better journals [like this junk here: https://t.co/HFmXKlshr5]
There are no metanalysis level data to prove effectiveness of Surya Namaskar as beneficial as aerobic exercise or better than strength training as Sadhguru claims.
Do Surya namaskar if you are doing nothing.
But upgrade to strength training if you want something.
And stop listening to pseudoscience peddlers who speak religion and culture for your healthcare needs.
Sadhguru suffers seriously from Dunning Kruger fallacy: a type of cognitive bias, where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs because of the fact that they donโt have enough knowledge to know they donโt have enough knowledge.
I just ran 2:57:31 in my first marathon 6 months after I started running.
The goal was to run a sub 3-hour marathon without sacrificing strength or muscle mass.
Here was the training plan I followed:
Note: this is a long post, so you may want to bookmark it for future reference.
Iโll split this plan into four main areas:
1. Running
2. Lifting
3. Nutrition
4. Recovery
Letโs walk through each areaโฆ
1. Running
The basic weekly structure involved 6 runs:
- 3 easy runs
- 1 track speed workout
- 1 tempo run
- 1 long run
Easy runs ranged from 2 to 10 miles and were all done to maintain HR under 150 (ideally in 125-145 range). These build the base of your engine and avoid injury from overuse because they are low intensity and easier on the body.
Track speed workouts generally involved a 1 to 2 mile warmup jog followed by 4 to 8 miles of track work (starting on the low end of that and building up over time). Track work was usually a combination of 800s (two laps around a standard track) or 400s (one lap), though occasionally included 1200s or 1600s as well. Rest periods between the work sets were typically 1 to 3 minutes. A standard track workout was 8 x 800m with a 400m slow jog to recover between rounds. Another standard track workout was 8 x 400m and 4 x 800 with a 400m slow jog between each round.
Tempo runs were hard middle distance (6 to 12 mile) road runs done at or near anaerobic threshold HR. Usually a 1 to 2 mile warm up and then the rest of the miles at hard effort (at or better than goal marathon pace). These build the top end effort and are generally representative of the HR exertion level on race day.
Long runs ranged from 8 to 22 miles and generally incorporated easy miles (low HR, low intensity) and tempo miles (high HR, high intensity). As I built closer to the marathon, these long runs were 18 to 22 miles with at least half of the miles done at or faster than my goal marathon race pace.
So a standard week at the start of my training might have looked like this:
- Monday: 2 mile easy run
- Tuesday: 5 mile track speed workout
- Wednesday: 2 mile easy run
- Thursday: 2 mile easy run
- Friday: 5 mile tempo run
- Saturday: Off
- Sunday: 8 mile long run
By the peak of my training, the weeks had built to something like this:
- Monday: 7 mile easy run
- Tuesday: 10 mile track speed workout
- Wednesday: 5 mile easy run
- Thursday: 7 mile easy run
- Friday: 12 mile tempo run
- Saturday: Off
- Sunday: 22 mile long run
My rough idea was to increase overall mileage load by about 5-10% each week, assuming I felt good and healthy (more on that in the recovery section).
If I had been training for a shorter race (like a half marathon or 10k), I would have replaced the long run with a shorter tempo interval run (example: 3 rounds of 1 mile easy, 2 miles hard).
2. Lifting
My biggest concern when I started adding the running was that I would lose a lot of weight and muscle mass. Iโm 6โ2โ 180Ibs and wanted to make sure I stayed above 175. In other words, I wanted to be a great runner, but never look like a great runner.
My weekly lifting plan matched this desire:
- 4 mandatory weekly lifts
- Upper/lower split
- 1 optional show lift (arms, abs)
The main lifts all followed the same format:
- Compound movement - 4 sets x 3-8 reps
- Secondary movement 3 x 8-12
- Accessory work superset 3 x 10
- Core work superset 3 x 15
Lower body compound movements were a squat variation or a deadlift variation. Upper body compound movements were a bench press variation or a row variation.
Lower body secondary movements included lunges, split squats, Romanian deadlifts, and glute bridges. Upper body secondary movements included dumbbell bench press, shoulder presses, dumbbell rows, and pull-ups.
Lower body accessory movements included hamstring curls, calf raises, side lunges, and step-ups. Upper body accessory movements included pushups, bicep curls, tricep presses, dips, shoulder raises, and shrugs.
Core work included hanging leg raises, reverse crunches, stability ball stir-the-pots, side planks, ab wheel rollouts, and more.
Note: Superset means two movements done back-to-back before resting. So for core work, it could be a hanging leg raise done for 15 reps followed by a reverse crunch for 15 reps. That is 1 set.
Hereโs an example lower body day:
- Barbell Front Squat 4 sets x 5 reps
- Dumbell Reverse Lunges 3 x 8
- Alternating Side Lunges + Calf Raises 3 x 10
- Hanging Leg Raises + Ab Wheel Rollouts 3 x 15
Hereโs an example upper body day:
- Barbell Bench Press 4 sets x 5 reps
- 1-Arm Dumbbell Rows 3 x 8
- Dumbell Curls + Tricep Extension 3 x 10
- Ab Wheel Rollouts + Reverse Crunches 3 x 15
They usually took about ~45 minutes if I was focused and stayed on task. I rest more between sets of the primary compound movement because it was done with heavier weight.
The typical week of lifting and running looked something like this:
- Monday: Easy Run
- Tuesday: Track Workout + Lower Body 1
- Wednesday: Easy Run + Upper Body 1
- Thursday: Easy Run
- Friday: Tempo Run + Lower Body 2
- Saturday: Upper Body 2
- Sunday: Long Run + Show Lift
Note: I always did my run before lifting on days where I had to do both. My logic was that my primary goal was a running goal, so doing that first, while fresh and focused, was essential. There were days where I really had to grind through the lift (long track day followed by a lower body lift), but I always got the work in, even if I had to reduce the intensity level.
Depending on schedule, I had to vary the times when I did these workouts based on their length and my other work and family commitments. I generally tried to do them in the mid-late morning, but weekends were always very early (5am) and some weekdays would end up being early or late if I had other things going on. The longest weekday workouts took about ~2 hours (long track day plus a lower body lift), which started to feel like a drag by the end of training. You can scale up or down this plan to meet your time availability, but full marathon training while maintaining strength and muscle mass is probably not for those who are ultra-strapped for time.
3. Nutrition
I established daily macronutrient targets to use as a guide at the start:
- Protein: 215g (~1.2g per lb of bodyweight)
- Carbs: 200g
- Fats: 125g
- Total Calories: 2,785
I was most concerned with losing a lot of weight and muscle mass as the running miles (and caloric burn) increased during training. To fight this, I gradually increased calories during the course of my training plan.
By the peak of my training, it looked more like this:
- Protein: 215g
- Carbs: 300g
- Fats: 125g
- Total Calories: 3,185
I wasnโt concerned with every last calorie being dialed (I wasnโt training for a bodybuilding competition and I didnโt need to be 5% BF), so I just tried to hit within ~10% of the daily macro targets I established.
Note: The protein and fats stayed constant, but the carbs increased. This was intentional, as my training load increased and my body was responding well to the fast fuel from carbs.
The important thing is to figure out your current baseline and build from there. Track your macros for a few days and see where they end up. If your weight has been constant, youโre eating to a good baseline at your current training level. If you are losing or gaining weight, youโre eating to a deficit or surplus at your current training level. If youโre going to be training hard, getting 1-1.2g of protein per pound of bodyweight is a good baseline. You can fill in carbs and fats behind that based on personal preferences and goals related to bodyweight.
Typical protein sources included beef, chicken, turkey, fish, shrimp, greek yogurt, whey.
Typical carb sources included quick oats, jasmine rice, sourdough bread, sweet potatoes, red potatoes, raw honey, fruit.
Typical fat sources included olive oil, avocado, grass fed butter, nuts.
As for supplements, I kept it pretty simple:
- Fish oil
- Vitamin D
- Creatine (5g daily)
- AG1 + LMNT
- Whey protein
For my nutrition on longer runs, I used the Maurten Gel 100s (25g of carbs each) and would take one every ~6-8 miles if I was running over 90 minutes. On my longest training runs (and for the race), I also took a Maurten 320 Drink Mix prior to the start and mixed in 2-4 packets of LMNT to sodium load a bit to avoid cramping.
4. Recovery
Given the training volume, I needed a very deliberate focus on recovery to prevent injury and keep my body feeling strong.
The pillars of my recovery routine:
- Daily recovery work
- Daily mobility work
- Morning cold plunge (3-5 minutes)
- Evening sauna (20 minutes)
Daily recovery work included foam rolling on the legs and back, lacrosse ball rolling on the feet, and massage gun on any tight areas. This was about ~5-10 minutes.
Daily mobility work was a ~10-15 minute mobility circuit I would do before my training that served a hybrid purpose as a warm-up. It usually included about ~5-7 movements that I would go through 2-3 times. Movements included squat-to-stands, dead-bugs, spidermans, bowler squats, couch stretch, yoga pushups, 90/90 hip stretch, reverse lunge with reach, and more. If you search โBest Mobility Exercises for Runnersโ youโll find a bunch of good options and routines with explanations. Doing this work daily is essential for avoiding injury.
Morning cold plunge was 3-5 minutes in 39 degrees right when I woke up. Evening sauna was 20 minutes in 200 degrees right before bed. Obviously, most people wonโt have access to this stuff, but you can do the morning cold in the shower if you donโt have a cold plunge and a hot shower before bed if you donโt have a sauna.
Closing Thoughts
This was the training plan I followed that allowed me to run a 2:57:31 in my first marathon just 6 months after starting to run. I did it while maintaining strength (400+ pound deadlift) and muscle mass (lost about ~5 pounds during the whole process).
It took a lot of time and effort, but the payoff was there.
The plan isnโt for everyone (probably not even for most people), and you should definitely consult with experts (doctors, trainers, nutritionists) before making any dramatic changes to your routine. The basic building blocks of the above can definitely be adapted to your life and routines regardless of your goals.
As I see it, the basic building blocks are as follows:
1. Running: Half of your runs should be low intensity/easy. The other half should be a combination of speed, tempo, and longer duration.
2. Lifting: Split across lower and upper days. Start every workout with a simple compound movement for strength. Follow it with a secondary movement and a superset of accessory movements. Finish with core.
3. Nutrition: If training hard, aim for 1-1.2g of protein per pound of bodyweight. Fill in carbs and fats based on what suits your goals and body.
4. Recovery: Aim for 10-15 minutes of daily recovery work (foam rolling, lacrosse ball foot rolling, mobility work).
If you build your own plan based on those principles, youโll make progress and feel great.
Ok, that took a long time to pull together. I hope it helps. Follow me @SahilBloom for more in future.
A heartfelt appeal to the good people of Twitter. ๐๐๐
I hate scams. It angers me when a scammer loots an innocent person of his life savings. Perhaps that is why when we got the chance, we implemented Verified by Sensibull. But there is sad news.
We can bust all the scams here, but we will not be able to save people till we go to Youtube and finish the scammers. Here is why, and here is what we can do
1. Twitter is a smarter crowd than YouTube. People here smell a scam from 10 miles away. Youtube has gullible folks who are fooled. Youtube is where scammers have their empires. Twitter is just an outpost
2. Youtube is not social media. It is a mass broadcasting platform where the content creators can delete comments. And scammers after getting busted in Twitter go to Youtube and just do business as usual
3. I repeat, every scammer who was caught with a fake P&L on Twitter has a thriving business in Youtube even now. Go their their channel and see yesterday's video's number of views, and how people comment "Sir aap bhagwan ho". The moment there is a negative comment that talks about fraud, they just delete it
What can we do?
1. Create awareness. What is awareness? The knowledge that most scammers are horribly incompetent. In politically correct terms, we must shine the light of knowledge. In politically incorrect terms, we must expose the frauds for who they really are. In the last 5 years, what has caused real damage to them is not the fear of regulation, but breaking the trust they have among gullible retailers. And breaking that trust that is simple - Verified P&L. Most of them are loss making. May be all of them are.
2. If your broker does not have verified P&L, ask them to implement it. Force them, pressurize them. No broker has a reason to not implement Verified P&L. A broker who truly cares about doing the right thing will implement verified P&L. And unless all brokers do it, there is no point - frauds will say this is marketing tactics by one broker
3. Comment on their Youtube channels about their frauds exposed. They will delete, but eventually they cant keep up if everyone does this. And some people will see. Mass report the Youtube channels for financial frauds and giving tips.
4. Most important - talk about it anywhere you can. Spread awareness about what happened here - tell them our stories - scams, scammers, about how P&L can be faked and P&L verification. Everytime someone is busted, share it everywhere - your social media, your get togethers, your offices, your apartment whatsapp groups etc. Heck, your family group mein there will be uncles following these scammers. They need to know. This is negative news, and will spread like wildfire. For a change, we need to do some good with negativity :)
Thank you. Please retweet this for greater awareness

I will never forget the famous reddit post on rabies. Read it. And never fucking take Rabies lightly again.
You go camping and While taking a nap, a tiny bat bites You and gives you a tiny scrape that goes completely.
Rabies does not travel in your blood. In fact, a blood test won't even tell you if you've got it. (Antibody tests may be done, but are useless if you've ever been vaccinated)
The bomb has been lit, and your nervous system is the wick. The rabies will multiply along your nervous system, doing virtually no damage, and completely undetectable. You literally have NO symptoms.
It may be four days, it may be a year, but the camping trip is most likely long forgotten. Then one day your back starts to ache... Or maybe you get a slight headache?
At this point, you're already dead. There is no cure
There's no treatment. It has a 100% kill rate.
Absorb that. Not a single other virus on the planet has a 100% kill rate. Only rabies. And once you're symptomatic, it's over. You're dead.
So what does that look like?
Your headache turns into a fever, and a general feeling of being unwell. You're fidgety. Uncomfortable. And scared. As the virus that has taken its time getting into your brain finds a vast network of nerve endings, it begins to rapidly reproduce, starting at the base of your brain... Where your "pons" is located. This is the part of the brain that controls communication between the rest of the brain and body, as well as sleep cycles.
Next you become anxious. You still think you have only a mild fever, but suddenly you find yourself becoming scared, even horrified, and it doesn't occur to you that you don't know why. This is because the rabies is chewing up your amygdala.
As your cerebellum becomes hot with the virus, you begin to lose muscle coordination, and balance. You think maybe it's a good idea to go to the doctor now, but assuming a doctor is smart enough to even run the tests necessary in the few days you have left on the planet, odds are they'll only be able to tell your loved ones what you died of later
You're twitchy, shaking, and scared. You have the normal fear of not knowing what's going on, but with the virus really fucking the amygdala this is amplified a hundred fold. It's around this time the hydrophobia starts
You're horribly thirsty, you just want water. But you can't drink. Every time you do, your throat clamps shut and you vomit. This has become a legitimate, active fear of water. You're thirsty, but looking at a glass of water begins to make you gag, and shy back in fear. The contradiction is hard for your hot brain to see at this point. By now, the doctors will have to put you on IVs to keep you hydrated, but even that's futile. You were dead the second you had a headache
You begin hearing things, or not hearing at all as your thalamus goes. You taste sounds, you see smells, everything starts feeling like the most horrifying acid trip anyone has ever been on. With your hippocampus long under attack, you're having trouble remembering things, especially family
You're alone, hallucinating, thirsty, confused, and absolutely, undeniably terrified. Everything scares the literal shit out of you at this point. These strange people in lab coats. These strange people standing around your bed crying, who keep trying to get you "drink something" and crying. And it's only been about a week since that little headache that you've completely forgotten. Time means nothing to you anymore. Funny enough, you now know how the bat felt when he bit you
Eventually, you slip into the "dumb rabies" phase. Your brain has started the process of shutting down. Too much of it has been turned to liquid virus. Your face droops. You drool. You're all but unaware of what's around you. A sudden noise or light might startle you, but for the most part, it's all you can do to just stare at the ground. You haven't really slept for about 72 hours
Then you die. Always, you die
And there's nothing anyone can do

Short thread on how this works ๐งต
The difference between Flag Hoisting & Flag Unfurling: ๐ฎ๐ณ
Many wouldn't be aware but as the traditions go:
- Flag is unfurled on the Republic Day: Closed and tied at the top of the pole. The President Unfurls it
- Flag is hoisted on the Independence Day: On this day it is tied and sits at the bottom of the pole & it's raised up to with an aim to honour the historical event of the Day.
Video describing the difference in the thread!!!
