Unofficially, Robstown's Tim Sanchez finishes his career with 224 catches for 3,114 yards.
The career totals are second all-time in the Corpus Christi area for receptions and fourth all-time in yardage. @Town_Athletics_@TexCoastBend@MICSportsNetwrk#txhsfb

I hope you high school track & field athletes are counting the rosters of those D1 schools that are recruiting you. And don’t forget the transfer portal isn’t even open yet. No NCAA roster limits in NCAA D2 and great competitiveness for athletes coming out of HS.

I can't stop thinking about this question:
Are you willing to sprint when the distance is unknown?
In 2021, Georgia Tech strength coach Lewis Caralla delivered this epic speech to the football team.
If it doesn't get you motivated, you may need to check your pulse...
He opens with a few harsh truths:
• Winning isn't loyal to you
• Winning doesn't care about you
• Winning doesn't care how sore you are
• Winning doesn't care how hard you work
• Winning doesn't care how much sleep you get
But it's his question that stuck with me:
Are you willing to sprint when the distance is unknown?
The willingness to sprint with no clear view of the finish line is rare.
It requires two things:
1. A deep belief in one's self
2. A deep belief in the mission
If you have 1 but not 2, you won't be able to do it.
If you have 2 but not 1, you won't be able to do it.
You need both.
In my observation, the greatest things in life are accomplished when you're willing to sprint when the distance is unknown:
The sprint to care for your loved ones in their time of need.
The sprint to build something meaningful.
The sprint to serve others and create positive ripples in the world.
Goal: Find those rare things in life that you're willing to sprint for when the distance is unknown.
That, to me, is the definition of winning.
"And why chase winning? Because the only thing that's guaranteed in life if you don't chase it is losing."
"You may beat me, but you won't outwork me.
You have to understand, as a leader, there is no job too small or too big.
I will lead by example."
A leader doesn't talk about the standards of a program. A true leader lives those standards daily.
"Winning is a habit.
Unfortunately, so is losing." - Vince Lombardi
In life, winning is a habit that emerges from consistent effort and unyielding determination. Regrettably, losing can also become a habit if you surrender to it.
Awesome: After a recent NFL rookie event, #Colts 20-year old QB Anthony Richardson, decided to stay behind after everyone else exited and clean up a big mess left by the players so the staff wouldn't have to.
Richardson explained that it was unfair to expect the staff to clean up the mess left by the draftees. He insisted on staying to help until the room was completely tidy, even though he was given the option to leave after NFL Executive Troy Vincent told him: "You don’t need to do this."
Richardson told Vincent: ‘We left this room in an unacceptable condition, and it’s not right for us to expect the staff to clean it all up.”
The Colts drafted a young man with high character and integrity 👏❤
