@umhoops Do you know if this is the largest home underdog spread in Maryland history? Can’t imagine they’ve been an 18-20 point dog at home too often but can’t find any historical data
@38Godfrey I read this b/c @andystaples recommended it & now closely follow EPL. Fascinated that the major Super League protests came from fans of big clubs that would’ve been most advantaged—not the ‘Wazzu’ fans that were left out. Will big school alums/fans ever protest? (Probably not)
I just watched Michigan win a national championship 30 mins ago. And the man in front of me in the bathroom line says to his friends, “I don’t know why the play calling wasn’t more creative.” Never change, Michigan, never change.
@AriWasserman But Michigan is also calling this game a bit scared (which makes sense without Harbaugh) but also like a team that knows Penn State doesn’t have a playmaker that can score again, which also makes sense.
@Alex_Drain Especially given the potential ROI for his career. There’s the debate about how valuable this info is - fair to question if it wasn’t hugely valuable, why do it? But CS isn’t a coach eval’d by real results. If his job is to be the sign steal guy & he did it well, he gets promoted
@PoPville a lost dog just ran eastward down Calvert St (past the old Marriott) and turned left onto 24th. It was jogging at a brisk pace and I was across the street - didn’t get a great view. Had a collar on, looked black with other coloring (maybe brown?), and probably 50-60 lbs
@eric_shap Neither were the two ref stoppages (including a 3 minute icing between FTs) that killed momentum when it looked like Dayton might’ve been pulling away
