Thrilled to see these preprints out after many years of planning, data collection, analysis - and huge efforts from the entire EURGen-Net CCRE Survey Working Group. It's been a pleasure working on these with Anke Kohlenberg @ECDC_EU, Inga Froding & Alma Brolund @Folkhalsomynd
Our preprint on using genomics to explore vaccine target diversity⬇️ A real pleasure working on this with Khalil Abudahab and the team. We're keen to gather feedback, feel free to get in touch (although I will be a little quiet for a while due to another project arriving soon!👶)
We’re pleased to share two new preprints with results from a structured survey of carbapenem- and/or colistin-resistant Enterobacterales (CCRE), conducted in 37 European countries in 2019.

Our latest preprint is out describing https://t.co/x7XlcXutbi – a platform for monitoring AMR trends from global genomics data. Supporting all WHO priority pathogens (2017), https://t.co/x7XlcXutbi summarises the geographic and temporal distribution of genotypic variants (e.g. STs) in the context of AMR to aid monitoring and prioritisation efforts. https://t.co/nUJtVzL0HF
Not only Translational Microbiology Prize Lecturer @daanensen a great scientist and amazing communicator whose work has had a real impact, he also publishes in @MicrobioSoc#MGen#Microbio25
We want to help improve resilience and response to emerging health threats, such as antimicrobial resistance (#AMR), in low and middle income countries.
