@quidproquo786 @AAtweets2022 @Hajj_nusuk@MoHU_En @mohalipatel @Ms_terry@ParaceNational@zeeshan172@modilwar@gerrylondon19@anam0785 Sadly, in the back of many brave “activists’” minds, this was expected. To save some of them from harsh utterances (Q4:148) & the hopefuls from much stress, I suggest throwing in the towel, & so repost these from when Covid prevented many from going. It may need revision, tho.
@Tash_reeqa A shared main problem could be that we rely on our own or influencers’ narratives rather than those of ALLĀH, azza wa jalla, and the Rasūl, SalALLĀHu alaihi waSallam. Spending more time with Qur’ān and Sahih narrations is a big fix, I’ve found.
@SmartRandomGuy If Ali, RadiALLĀHu anhu, was appointed then, the Rasūl, SalALLĀHu alaihi waSallam, would have acted against Q6:159, and other Āyāh, and caused a huge divide. ALLĀH, Azza waJalla, would have then acted on His Promise in Q68:44-47 and ended the Rasūl’s life before those assembled.

If Abū Bakr, ʿUmar, and ʿUthmān pledged allegiance on the day of Ghadīr, why did the Imām not implement the command of the Prophet ﷺ?
The most common explanation of this report is that the nākithīn refer to Ṭalḥah, al-Zubayr, and ʿĀʾishah, the qāsiṭīn refer to Muʿāwiyah and ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ, and the māriqīn refer to the Khawārij.
From the perspective of the Twelver Shiʿah, this prophecy was therefore fulfilled.
However, if Ghadīr was a binding designation of the Imamate, then the first broken oaths occurred at the hands of Abū Bakr, ʿUmar, and ʿUthmān.
If Sayyidunā ʿAlī رضي الله عنه challenged Abū Bakr at Saqīfah, then he already knew that many people would reject his claim.
Either he would have been able to establish his authority or he would not.
If he was unable to do so, it could only be because the overwhelming majority of the Ṣaḥābah rejected the divinely appointed Imām.
This would entail that those who directly accompanied the Prophet ﷺ failed to uphold one of the most fundamental obligations of the religion, that is necessary for salvation, immediately after his death. This would imply that the Prophet ﷺ failed in his mission.
If, however, he was able to establish his authority, then why did he not take up arms against those who had allegedly violated the Prophet’s ﷺ command?
It cannot be argued that this was merely to avoid division or bloodshed, for division and bloodshed occurred during the First Fitnah, when Sayyidunā ʿAlī رضي الله عنه fought at al-Jamal, Ṣiffīn, and Nahrawān.
In that case, either he refrained from implementing a prophetic command despite possessing the ability to do so, which would contradict the doctrine of infallibility and constitutes disobedience/sin, or the Imām possesses the authority to suspend or override the implementation of a prophetic command according to his own judgment.
The implications of both positions are clear.
Pick your poison.
May Allah ﷻ be pleased with the Companions.
And Allah ﷻ knows best.

@AhmedTayy Sure, but narrating something the Rasūl, SalALLĀHu alaihi waSallam, may not have said (being graded other than Sahih) is problematic (preparing a seat in Hell). I therefore restrict myself to only Sahih narrations - to save myself, not to be a master.
@AhmedTayy I do not have time to waste on collections that have been graded as having all types of narrations. I hoped you would have pointed Sahih collections to assist me on the Path.

@eThekwiniM And when does he reckon the potable water will really be potable, drinkable and free of any unpleasant smell? Parts of the caring City, eg North Beach, is receiving water that tastes and smells like soil. cc @kzncogta@bereamail@TheMercurySA@DAeThekwini
@aamullanee You don’t. Even when faced with any other grouping of Muslims. That is, if you appreciate the import of Āyāh regarding sects, such as 6:65, 6:159, 23:53 and 30:32. If not, endless discussion, seminars and volumes written become inconclusive norms. Similar to “rajman bilghaibi”.

@n_alharbi112 By and large, for aiding and abetting DT’s use of the media to bloat his ego, media deserves his retorts. All media houses should not attend briefings or board AF1.
@MoHU_En Is any agency clamping down on the export of Zamzam? It is being sold by many physical and online stores despite knowing what they are selling is contraband or fake. Some even teach the gullible how to spot fakes. cc @SaudiVision2030
@al_Samancii “Salafiyya” is a label amongst the labels we attach ourselves to and/or attach to others. So know deep down that ALLĀH shows us “ba’hsa ba’dhin” (Q6:65) and will inform us of what we did (Q6:159).
A message of gratitude to General Mkhwanazi's wife, Mrs. Mkhwanazi
I just felt the need to express words of sincere gratitude to Mrs. Mkhwanazi, in case there's someone who knows her, who might pass on this message to her.
Ma'am I cannot even begin to imagine how it must be to have a husband whose life is dedicated to serving the nation unreservedly. Every wife of a law enforcement officer knows what they are signing up for, including soldiers, and we know every morning when the husbands leave the house, you fear it may be the last time you and the children see them, and many have lost their husbands in the line of duty.
Your husband Ma'am, is a special kind of a human being, who chose a higher level of sacrifice, a road less traveled, by taking on dangerous cartels and walking into the lion's den, where his colleagues and the brave would dare not go, on the 6th July 2025, as you know.
This action made him a national hero, whose face is recognized in ever corner of the country, and beyond, his name is known even by toddlers, his bravery is admired by other men, young and old, he has women crushing over him all over the country and groupies, like all famous men do. He leaves your home for days and weeks on national duty, and hopefully gives you assurance that you have nothing to worry about.
You are the one who is left looking after the children and keeping the home fires burning. We at this moment, have to pause and acknowledge you, appreciate you and thank you. We extend our love to you and we pray for your family at all times. Thank you for sharing your husband with the nation and supporting him in your own quiet way, far from the flashing cameras. As a wife, you are the one who gives him isithunzi, the dignity we see in him. We see a brave and courageous man in public, only you know his fears, anxieties, weaknesses and limitations. May God bless you and give you strength to withstand all the challenges and apprehensions you may have in the quiet of your home. Sending you and the children lots of love on behalf of all South Africans. 🙏🏽❤️
