Post flight 10 update - remember for optimal viewing. open image in separate tab then zooming becomes available - squished flight cadence and moved a lot of milestones to the right. I'm not giving up on 2026 Mars window yet. suggestions are welcome
@JoeTegtmeyer I go full nerd with friends on the easy home adoption for Optimus as senior care giver empowering people to stay in their home much longer that today’s standards. Ability to check vital signs and do initial triage then calling 911 when needed is a next level feature, unrivalled
@dyson@elonmusk
Dyson needs succession planning.
Dyson does good work, makes good things. I think Dyson should talk to Elon about succession planning and handing the baton to Elon down the road. Elon would continue the quality work 💯 %
Introducing Starbase, Louisiana – a high-cadence launch site that will enable Starship to open a pathway to the stars for humanity.
Thank you to @LAGovJeffLandry and the great people of Louisiana for all of their support as we work together on this audacious project → https://t.co/zGKVOGSxfW
@JoeTegtmeyer@Tesla re: the East side of Optimus building and the trusses. Like their other factories, they leave room to park trailers, what if they decided some receiving needed to be "inside" out of sight a truss based area would work, esp if they use Tesla Semis, never know cheers
@blueorigin I've been thinking, I think Blue and SpaceXai could afford to help expand the Deep Space Network(DSN), or announce that both/either have an alternative to the terrestrial DSN and how they will support deep space comms (including legacy probes)
@NASAAdmin@NASAKennedy the atomic age, perhaps "welcome to the new age again" Small Medium Reactors, definitely going to need them in ~4 years to power the moon bases
Can't wait. 😃😍
@JoeTegtmeyer 4 miles of building, so big. I wonder if they will have to build a new town for staff. Imagine the legions of construction trailers, fab tents, new retail. Best of all, i wonder how The Boring Co. will be used for site tunnels. Nice
@Alexphysics13 In Florida, I always wonder what will be down range from the stand. It stands to reason that there will be a bunch of stones and dirt and debris (aka projectiles) flying around at high energy speeds and maybe that has to go into the whole site planning
@JoeTegtmeyer@Tesla@SpaceX I’d bet they’ve already placed orders for the steelworks, imagine multiple mills running nonstop for that size of structure. Wow wow 🤩
@ChuckCook@Tesla@elonmusk I've had FSD since 2019 and traded in M3 HW2 for MY HW3 and now looking to understand my pathway to FSD. The stores in Toronto that I ask about this don't have guidance from corporate, basically I know more than the staff and Elon's statements at 1/4ly is the only guidance
@JoeTegtmeyer@robotaxi regarding the Eastern end of River Rd. the end of the paved section. You commented about the oddly shaped curbs. I think the curb is shaped like that because it will become a left turn lane onto Tesla Ave.
With all the Starbase infrastructure improvements by SpaceX it seems they always have multiple options in play for everything 4D chess like, how about leveraging the conveniently located new LNG Terminals being built - map v4 now with costs sorted
@julia_bergeron@colleenadastra I can see it now... during a major event... that gigantic wall will be covered with a light show of epic proportions! I can't wait.
@CSI_Starbase ok, so lots of water. I now its yet another commodity. So, given that this implies that THIS supply chain needs a gigantic improvement. I wonder, how can Brownsville accommodate the water requirement. Does this mean that desalination plants are needed, and by extension
