Sadly Canadian physicians continue to post misinformation that only increases friction within the health care community in our country. They claim to be humanitarian but they are obsessed with Israel and Jews. They are unable to see beyond their own prejudice and their posts simply create more intolerance in our multicultural society. The vast majority of liberal, democratic leaders and countries see the threat from the Iranian regime to peace and stability not only in the Middle East but to the world. These physicians are either incredibly ignorant or incredibly hateful. And I don't think they are ignorant.

Here are 3 who claim that Israel just "perceives" a threat from Iran and "feels threatened" by Iran. This cannot be ignorance but pure willful misinformation. The Iranian official leaders on the record and publicly have repeatedly been calling for death to Israel and for the eradication of Israel from the world map for well over 15 years. They share no border with Israel. They have no territorial dispute with Israel.

The Iranian regime tortures, imprisons and murders its own young women for the crime of uncovering their hair. The Iranian regime provided hundreds of millions of dollars to arm Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis. These 3 proxies of Iran have been responsible for well over a thousand of Israeli deaths (mostly civilians) in recent years. Hamas has fired over 20,000 rockets into Israel since 2005 and in that time frame built hundreds of km of military tunnels; Hezbollah fired over 8000 rockets/missiles at Israel since October 2023 (a truly unprovoked attack), the Houthis have fired over 100 ballistic missiles at Israel since November 2023 (also unprovoked). Unprovoked attack by Israel on Iran? What a joke.

Where do our fine Canadian doctor colleagues think all this weaponry came from? Who do you think supplied it all? It's not even a secret. It's all public information. The Iranian regime is responsible for the majority of war and suffering across the Middle East. For Israelis, Palestinians, Iranians, Lebanese, and many other people of the region - Israel's attack is the greatest hope for a peaceful future for everyone. Stop spreading hate!
