We recently commemorated National Tree Planting Day by planting 53 Beefwood trees in Mushandike Village. Thank you to the Forestry Commission of Zimbabwe for providing these trees and for ensuring that PWDs play a key role in combating the climate crisis.

I had the pleasure of speaking on @HevoiFm on Key Budget priorities for PWDs, representing @dactzw. An inclusive budget is one that priorities the needs of marginalised people -and this is what we are calling for!

Being deaf is not a crime! Not investing resources to train teachers, service providers and citizens on sign language is the crime. For the longest, deaf people have been treated as 2nd class citizens & cannot access services. This has to change
