You don’t understand, do you?
You can’t ‘tech skills’ your way out of poverty.
We are still at ground zero. Westerners talk big about tech because they have fit every other supporting infrastructure that gets it to function well. Outside the unicorns, you still have no power, costly food, low wages, terrible quality education, lack of access to water.
Can’t you see that that’s why Nigerian tech bros only build financial solutions for savings, token investments or trade. Because that’s all we can do outside govt. interaction.
We need to fix the foundations. Govt. is supposed to be a loop of effective corporate interactions.
The digital economy guy invites stakeholders & VC hubs, the Ministry of Foreign affairs fast track their visit, the Ministry of power makes sure there’s constant electricity for trainers.
The Ministry of Education have already sorted the issue of digital onboarding to make the transition into the digital economy hassle-free and cheap. Labour and co sort that companies don’t exit but are retained here with good tax rebates so that there are jobs for the trainers.
This is what a govt. runs like and you can’t have this if Wike runs Power and Keyamo handles Labour.
Makeshift development isn’t development!
@funshographix@temi19443 This is the most ignorant tweet I've seen in a long time. Please stop being ignorant! Please get educated about social affairs and stop being a bigot!
David Hundeyin takes a deep dive into the dangerous world of insecurity, terrorism financing and how it intersects with religious domination.
You'd be shocked at some of the names, but others may not really surprise you. Chilling.
