A 99th-percentile CAT achiever who chose the Indian Army, volunteered for Special Forces, served with 3 PARA (SF) and was part of the raising team of 12 PARA (SF). Even after a heart attack in 2008, he returned to active service.

In August 2025, he suffered a severe posterior circulation stroke and is now living with Locked-in Syndrome. He remains conscious, aware and mentally alert, communicating through eye movements and alphabet scanning. Further complications led to bilateral below-knee amputations.

This is not an appeal for sympathy, but for possibilities.

• Neurologists & neuro-rehabilitation specialists experienced in Locked-in Syndrome
• Advanced neurological rehabilitation centres
• Researchers working on recovery, brain-computer interfaces and assistive technologies
• Experts in eye-tracking and alternative communication
