New data from Ramp challenges the idea that AI replaces jobs.

By linking AI spending with workforce records across 21,559 U.S. firms, researchers found companies that adopt AI grow headcount by roughly 10% over the following two years.

The gains are driven almost entirely by high-intensity AI adopters, where entry-level hiring rises ~12%, suggesting AI is complementing workforce growth rather than replacing workers.
