@richieSF2016 Recently watched The Weather Underground, Chesa’s bio father was the one actually showed some remorse in the film, Bernardine Dohrn had zero, none, still a lunatic terrorist at heart to this day
@IntermediaryJoe @richieSF2016 No one blamed him for his f’d up parents and adoptive parents, HE is the one constantly brought up his father being in prison for life for murder and that made him the victim
In San Francisco 2022, when someone calls you a racist or a fascist, it's because they've lost the debate and literally have no way to logically argue with you.
@SteveAdams80182 Things were NOT worse in the 80s. I've lived in SF since 1984 & this is the worst I've ever seen it: retail looting, open air drug dealing w/ a drug that KILLS people, car break-ins sky high, attacks on Asian Americans, home invasions -we NEVER had this level of crime in the 80s!
Swan Oyster Depot went 110 years with a glass storefront. Today it's being encased in steel bars. Remember this when someone tells you "crime is down" or "things were worse in the 80s".
@nbcbayarea This would never happen in SF because Chesa would have provided him with Home Depot gift cards to prevent him from burning it down. It’s Home Depot’s fault if you think about it
Under the previous DA, Shirin prosecuted car break-ins, earning her the title "Queen of the Car Break-ins" by @sfchronicle.
When Chesa took office, he dissolved the unit & prevented her from collaborating with the police. Car break-ins are now on the rise.

One of the women resisting arrest at the Pittsburgh #BLM protest where the viral punch photo was taken is Victoyia Lynn Townes. She was arrested over a racist #BLM attack in a restaurant in 2020 where she was charged w/rioting, making terroristic threats, assault & more.
