DAIS (Dresden Analysis-of-Images Suite) is a de.NBI node centered on tools and services for biological image analysis. We contribute to @fijisc and @knime.
Extracurricular evening talk by @gomez_mariscal at #dlmbl, introducing us and some remote folks to https://t.co/VE9A7k43mF and the formats, data structures, thoughts and ideas behind it and #AI4LIFE.
It’s so good to see that people are excited and believe in this project!!! ❤️
We are looking for two talented „Bioimage Analysis and AI Research Software Scientists“ to join us @humantechnopole. Positions are funded via #AI4LIFE (HorizonEurope), and will help the life sciences to better utilize cutting-edge AI methods… 🧵

🚨 ICLR SPOTLIGHT 🚨
Unsupervised denoising, i.e. removing noise in data without having ground truth, has a new state-of-the-art. A short 🧵 about why this rocks...
https://t.co/jPjfHWEkK1
Spoiler: it can also remove structured noise & gives diverse solutions for ambiguous data
It has started... the Deep Learning for Microscopy Image Analysis (DL@MBL) in Woods Hole is finally happening (after two lockdown cancellations)... 🎉

Next 10 days will be awesome, although I was not let into the U.S. to be there in person... 😢
BREAKING: Arnold Schwarzenegger loses a major sponsorship from a sports nutrition brand after calling Trump’s anti-maskers “schmucks” and telling them “screw your freedom.” RT IF YOU’RE PROUD OF ARNOLD FOR STANDING TALL AND HAVING THE GUTS TO CALL A SPADE A SPADE!
In @Mangal_Prakash_’s latest work, we teamed up with @docmilanfar and @2ptmvd and show how Generative Diversity Denoising methods can not only lead to SOTA denoising results, but also used to remove spatial artifacts (e.g. in tomography)!#HDivNoising

The lastest work by @tibuch_ now on arXiv. https://t.co/WTgmFv6EK7
We thought that Transformers on pixel sequences appear a bit misused, but on unrolled Fourier coefficients tasks such as superres or tomographic reconstructions seem quite natural.
What do you think? 🖼+🤖=🤩?
Look what I just spotted! 🤩
A practical course @humantechnopole intended for microscopists and biologists! Great guest speakers included!!!
Register and join us (virtually) in Milan on a 3 day learning spree on how to restore/denoise your data... https://t.co/1gZ7gNSco1
In my previous lab, two male coworkers wrote a review paper about the topic that a female graduate student was working on - without asking her as a co-author.
It's not misconduct, but I still think they were a**holes.
#WomenInScienceDay2021
An @MBLScience course specifically for #DeepLearning for Microscopy Image Analysis?!?
