The Indian personal / credit card / microfinance loan cycles have turned.

Most banks are speaking about it in earnings, some seeing NPAs rise, increased provisioning.

Not unexpected — about 12 months after the RBI clamped down on small personal loans, flow of fresh credit slows, defaults rise.

Gold loans is the other segment where there was exuberance, difference there is loan is secured by value of gold which is intact.
