⚠️ An 82 year old Grandma from Leeds has declared WAR on corporate greed by setting up a stall outside her local Morrisons selling her collection of second hand carrier bags, after being enraged at the supermarket charging an extortionate 60p per bag! 😲
"I've been hoarding these bloody things for 30 years!" she explained. "I've got hundreds under the kitchen sink, cupboards full of them and thousands piled up in the garden shed!"
The pensioner pocketed a whopping £13.40 on her first day and insists she'll be back tomorrow, claiming she's got enough bags at home to keep her in business until 2029.
First of all,
Nothing is wrong with the outfit.
Second,
Women’s bodies/outfits have been policed by the church for eons, I like how men sef don dey experience am now.
Sarry sarry eh
Next time cover your arms when going to church, abi do you want women to be tempted or stumble???
If after 40 years of estrangement, you use chatGPT to draft apology letter for me, I’ll add a clause in my will that you must be arrested after my death.
@BluishChrissie Who are we on earth to Judge humans by their physical appearance? Leave Christ to be the Judge and let humans be!!
If your famous celebrity (e.g Davido) walked in dressed like this would there be a reservation?
We need to be careful about how we address these things.
First, I don’t think there is anything wrong with dressing like this. It may not be conventional, but you can’t say, in principle, that he is dressed poorly.
Second, I've heard people say things like, “If he had an interview, would he dress like this?” Dressing has become such a big part of church activities. They say that if a pastor, a true, genuine pastor, wears a T-shirt and dress pants, he won’t be taken seriously. Where do we draw the line? At what point on the spectrum do you say these clothes are inappropriate? In a Chevron interview, you won’t be allowed to wear cornrows as a man, but men in CCI are allowed to wear different hairstyles, so where do you really draw the line?
Lastly, there are churches in this country that believe women shouldn’t wear earrings or men shouldn’t wear caps to church. While I agree that we should respect people's cultures and beliefs, we can, however, say that these views don’t make sense or aren’t rooted in any biblical principle.
I will try to judge the person's intention: Are you wearing this provocatively, or is this truly your dress sense? Because now you have chased a brother away from the assembly of God without being able to state the sin he has committed.
Oversleeping has always been my quietest cry for help. The moment I start sleeping through entire days, just know something inside me is carrying more than it can explain out loud.
Niko Omilana shared a WHOLESOME moment with grocery store employee Della after spending 3 days working undercover and seeing how KIND she was to him while all 14 other workers HATED him & gossiped about how WEIRD he was 😮❤️👀
She BROKE DOWN IN TEARS after he surprised her with a BRAND NEW TV and a FULLY PAID holiday to her dream vacation in Austria 🙏
Quite sad! I hate to say this but it’s very much a British culture and a lot of people face this at their work place…….one person has a negative perception of you and everyone starts working with that negative perception.
Most times they’ll warm up to you eventually
