Crystal Palace have become the first club to open a dedicated support centre for players after they’ve been released from the academy. 👏

The idea is to limit the risk of mental health issues for released young men. 🙌

The three-year aftercare package will support released academy players in making a way of life, outside of football.

Not only are the Eagles smashing it on the pitch, they are smashing it off the pitch. Great initiative. 🦅

@BristolOli Subs only masked the obvious. Starting lineup was wrong for the 3rd game running. Sykes out was correct but Williams shouldn’t have started. Twine on the left simply hasn’t worked. Bringing Bird into MF and playing Twine at 10 with proper wingers was what we all knew was needed.

@_callumfowler Nope. Always fail to hang on to our best players. Recruit fairly well but retain terribly. Good fees received admittedly but finance has trumped ambition far too often. Don’t see that changing
