【中國沙化土地面積年均縮減1000萬畝】6月17日是世界防治荒漠化和乾旱日。據國家林草局消息，中國沙化土地面積持續凈減少，由20世紀末的年均擴展515萬畝轉變為目前的年均縮減1000萬畝。

數據顯示，八大沙漠、四大沙地的土壤風蝕總量較2000年下降約40%，沙區植被平均蓋度達21.17%，較10年前上升2.84%。“三北”工程區林草覆蓋率達40.76%，67.82%的可治理沙化土地得到治理。

China launched its first customized remote-sensing satellite dedicated to cultural heritage protection on Monday via a Lijian-1 Y14 carrier rocket. It will link with over 130 satellites of the Jilin-1 constellation to provide high-precision, time-series remote-sensing data and significantly improve nationwide, high-frequency, full-coverage monitoring of cultural heritage sites.

China launched a Long March-12 rocket on Wednesday from a commercial site in Hainan, sending the 22nd group of low-orbit internet satellites into space. The rocket lifted off at 10:44 a.m. Beijing Time and successfully placed the payload into its preset orbit, according to the launch site.

【5000美元“長”成5萬棵樹，一筆捐款背後的中國治沙力量】6月17日是世界防治荒漠化與干旱日。

前陣子，60歲的中國治沙人殷玉珍終於找到了20多年前資助她的美國教師賽考斯。27年前，賽考斯在電視上看到殷玉珍在毛烏素沙地種樹治沙的報道，深受觸動，四處籌款，寄來了5000美元。時光飛逝，當年殷玉珍用籌款購買的小樹苗，如今已長成5萬多棵樹，蔓延成一片森林。

毛烏素沙地是中國四大沙地之一，曾被稱為不毛之地。曾經，這裡風沙肆虐，黃沙漫天。如今，毛烏素治理率已超過80%，流動沙丘面積縮減了93%。

黨的十八大以來，中國53%的可治理沙化土地得到有效治理，成為全球增綠最多最快的國家。5000美元成就的5萬棵樹，在治沙人的辛勤守護下，依然生機勃勃。它們守護着家園，造福着民生。更為全球生態治理，交出了一份來自中國的精彩答卷。
