Data is driving our decision making, and no data set is more important than hospital admissions. We're flattening the curve but need to bend it down to open the economy and keep it open.

Happy dance after my Small Business Forgivable Loan Program was approved today! Thank you to @RodneyEllis and @LinaHidalgoTX for recognizing the pressure many businesses are under throughout HC. Many family-owned are struggling to keep their doors open. Hopeful we can help a few.

We need our healthcare workers to be HEALTHY and ABLE. And service providers like grocery store staff, public works employees, law enforcement.

Real honorable that Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick wants to die for the economy, but where are the billionaires offering to find the manufacture and donation of PPE gear, face masks, and cleaning supplies??

[Meg @dangerfreckle]

Where are the rich people willing to shift their selfishness into selflessness? C'mon Bezos, Musk, etc. Get onboard. We don't need Teslas, we need PROTECTION.

[Meg @dangerfreckle]

Nobody better tag me in pushup or squat challenges during all this. My butt is gonna get bigger because of all the carbs I'm eating, not because of HEALTHY STUFF.

BREAKING: I've just issued a Stay Home-Work Safe Order for Harris County residents effective midnight tonight. Folks should stay home except for essential needs. This moment in history will define our future. History will say we prioritized human life.

@isbahraja Disagree

[Meg @dangerfreckle]

Also... People who are considered "high-risk" can HEAR YOU when you use them (us - I'm one of them) as a reassurance of your low likelihood of contracting and being severely affected by COVID-19.

[Meg @dangerfreckle]

If during the COVID-19 crisis you eat out at restaurants or go run to get coffee from Starbucks, tip your servers a little extra if you can afford to.
