REA found why Windows Calculator says 200 + 10% = 220 but 6 × 6% = 0.36

REA is Reverse Engineer Anything, an open source tool that lets an AI agent read machine code. It read the installed Calculator

What it found
the code checks the operator before it does the percent

0x5c is × and 0x5b is ÷

if it is one of those two, the code jumps and does Y ÷ 100

anything else falls through and does a percent of the first number

200 + 10%
10 ÷ 100 = 0.1
200 × 0.1 = 20
200 + 20 = 220

6 × 6%
6 ÷ 100 = 0.06
6 × 0.06 = 0.36

The check is in Microsoft's open source code
after × or ÷ it means X [op] (Y%)
after anything else it means X [op] (X * Y%)
and the tests say 50 + 20% = 60
