@AZPaulC@JesseNFriedman@PHNX_Sports You make multiple offers. Dbacks will offer him the QO. He will reject it. Then dbacks will continue to negotiate on a different contract. If we keep him, great. If not, we get a draft pick from the QO we made. The QO is not an either/or, its in addition to the normal negotiation
@DougDucey "Another new report shows the Yankees are the best in the nation at going 0-3 in the 2024 world series" what an unbelievably cherry picked stat that has actually nothing to do with the quality of education
@shoewizard59 I get your point but i think this is more a product of not being in a position to manufacture runs/steals in the post season. His obp with the bases empty has been horrific. If he has traffic in front of him (or just drove in runs) the opp for steals is way lower
@arizona_melissa @MrAzSports The league may not but the dbacks 100% do. For all his perceived faults or beliefs i disagree with, KK hates drama and toxicity. Again, we were the first team to move off bauer years ago and its before any of the newsworthy junk
@MrAzSports I mean, heard chef, but i dont think the answer to your discomfort realistically is bringing in a known toxic player - all allegations aside
@ArizonaSnakes@DbacksStatsInfo Its both. They 'declared free agency' by not having a contract extension in place. If they havent signed prior to november they are free to be contacted by any club as they will no longer be dbacks.
@DbacksDispatch Braves pitching sale g2 if they lose g1. All but guarantees a split. I also think the braves bench is deeper than the mets, but thats just optimism mostly. Other optimist in me says no way snit 100% rolls over for a division rival
