If you're in need of social or mental health services, please DM me or reach out to my campaign at [email protected]. I'll get you connected to community organizations that can help and/or therapists currently working via web-based teleconferencing. https://t.co/5Q96HBRKXK
Let me be the first to congratulate my would-be opponent Dick Gottfried on another default election to AD75. I've no doubt he'll keep serving the district and her constituents to the same baseline he has for the last 50 years. Great job, Dick. https://t.co/JTZR5PxEF1
This account will stay up, because I believe in transparency and won't erase my message because the voters need to hear it. Thanks for the sparring, I really have enjoyed it. I sincerely hope you stay safe, my friend. Get a vaccine, when it's out. Make Dick get one, too! 😉
How is it the head of @ManhattanBoard4 immediately attacks me every time I mention Dick's name? Who exactly do you represent? LOL Relax, Lowell. I have no intention of running again. See, I was forced to move on. I'm one of those new graduates and freelancers, unemployed and..
@dangorman4ny CB4 is about community involvement and some chose to give you a chance. But the truth is you showed up at one board meeting to get those signatures and haven’t been back since, at a time when our community needs help. Dick has been here for our community.
Maybe he'll get his tax-raising healthcare finally passed, now that no one has a job to pay for it. You say your community needs so much help, then focus there! You are running offense for a guy who, yet again, literally can't lose. Defaulting isn't the same thing as winning.
@LowellDKern There's actual case law that showed I did follow the rules, but small candidates don't always have resources to fight it in court. That's the problem that's kept incumbents in seats for 50 years. At least be honest about it. A whole bunch of signatures came from your board, btw.
Oh, the irony. Frankly Dick, you're full of shit. This candidate got his act together to run against you and got a whole lot of signatures deep in your home turf. Where was your outrage when no one but you was on the ballot after the BOE kicked me off? Friends of yours? #VOTE
I think it’s wrong when only one candidate or party gets their act together to run. People should always have a choice. But I’m happy to have @nicolegelinas vote!😊✊
Well, better late than never. The BOE eviscerated the democratic process for voters last June, and no electeds said a word while incumbents were protected. Hope these aren't campaign promises. I can guarantee some of us are watching @LizKrueger@BenKallos https://t.co/SkbLvmfBRv
Yeah, no. This isn't about dining. Go hang out in Kip's Bay's, 3rd Ave, where people have been crowding sidewalks and streets since before phase 1, unmasked, clutching nothing but overpriced frozen margaritas. Drinking in the street is still illegal and dangerous.
NYC, all signs point to us reaching Phase 3 of our restart as soon as July 6.
That means indoor dining (at 50% capacity) and personal care businesses will be back.
It should not be this hard to vote.
Remember that if you're in line before polls close, you have a right to stay in line until you can cast your ballot.
.@BOENYC, dozens of people are saying they haven’t received their absentee ballot -including myself! Do you have any update on that? Do you think everyone who requested it will receive it by or before Election Day ?
@LindseyBoylan For all the buzz that "blue wave" had about ousting old, white male incumbents...there sure is a lot of support behind old, white male incumbents. 🤨
And by they way, who from your office is tweeting at a guy, who supposedly wasn't a candidate (despite originally being on the official ballot), at 1030p on a Thursday in an attempt to gaslight him? @TweetBenMax@gothamist@GothamGazette
@BOENYC@NYGovCuomo@NYCMayor But my campaign did qualify. You denied me based on petition language that was actually upheld in Odett v Walsh, 2010. Ironically, Commissioner Araujo was one of the two spoke up to boot me. Sorry, what was he fined for again? There was a challenger, and the voters know that now.
@BOENYC@NYGovCuomo@NYCMayor Thanks for sending me the ballot. I look forward to engaging with the BOE on election issues and corruption for a long, long time to come.
