This map reminds us how much space we dedicate to cars. Electric or self-driving cars aren't much of an innovation as long as they are still individually owned. If self-driving cars were just owned by a platform like Uber a city could easily function with 10% of the cars (see link). This would free up sooooo much space for public use, housing, and improve the experience of moving through the city.
