A bucket list item ticked for me today: be published in a peer-reviewed journal! https://t.co/Jz5bBgD0VK It was fantastic team to collaborate with, both designing and building the app, and then writing the paper. 😁💖🎓
@hardestgeezer just ran my first ultra for my birthday. 60km. Can’t believe you did this every day. ngl, didn’t think you’d make it past Angola. You just kept going. You showed us how it’s done. 🫡
@thewheatgerm@adamhchase@wendoverpro I dreamed I was playing tag across my home city with you, but when Adam caught me I just denied I was ever the runner and ruined the season. I’m so sorry. I have no excuse.
I've finally finished the first part of my "stop hanging your queen" chess app. I hope it's helpful, please RT if you like it, just don't break it because I am going to sleep now. https://t.co/ocgqn060qC
@monfresh This works because I can quickly throw out the nonsense and then go verify anything that’s new to me. But for both copy and code, having an AI quickly iterate through possibilities greatly accelerates my output.
@monfresh I haven’t had good experiences getting useful code out of the GPTs, but copilot is incredible at it. The thing I find the GPTs good at is ideation and copywriting. In both of these cases though, I want the AI to give me ideas and options that I can evaluate and refine.
I made a thing over the break. We all know we shouldn’t share secrets over @SlackHQ etc (I’ve had API tokens in my inbox from a DM before), but sharing via a password manager can be tricky with clients etc.
Any feedback is welcome!

@tobyhede Watched it all multiple times. Very clever, very funny, very poor taste. Fan base is toxic. This automatically qualifies us to mod r/iamverysmart right?
@nathan_k Literally Neo-Catholics. XD I haven't read the books, but it's a really interesting and mind-bending premise. I quite enjoyed the show. Plot a bit contrived at points but made the most of the premise. Decent watch.
This is crucial. Understand these two facts:
1. Once you pick a DB, you're unlikely to leave that for another DB. So don't worry about portability of your code. Thus....
2. Use every feature of your DB and learn to optimize queries for it. You can save days of time.
