How to succeed as an intern:

1. Know your patients! That means getting a signout on your patients before you start a rotation. It means knowing what's happening and WHY it's happening. As you progress through the year, know basics about all the patients on the team (1/?)

Many YouTube videos later I still wasn’t completely satisfied. I wish I had a wok burner where the flame is more central and much more powerful. So I made my own using a piece of metal which allows for a much taller flame. Let’s hope I don’t burn the house down

I’ve always had a love for cooking and have wanted for a while to improve my stir fry’s. I became slightly obsessed and went down a rabbit hole researching the perfect setup for several hours.

I ended up getting a round bottom which lends to improved heat distribution. Since I live in the US, I then needed to get a “wok ring” which allows the round bottom to sit on my burner.
