PDRN aka Salmon Sperm 🍣 plays a crucial role in cellular regeneration and tissue repair. Its biological activities, including stimulating cell proliferation, angiogenesis, and anti-inflammatory effects are making it a popular choice for therapeutic & aesthetic treatments.
There's a reason I no longer recommend intermittent fasting to my clients.
Not because it never works.
But because I care more about what's happening inside your body than what the scale says.
Here's what a lot of people miss...
Intermittent fasting can absolutely help some people eat fewer calories, improve food awareness, and even lose weight in the short term.
But that doesn't automatically mean it's supporting your metabolism.
Several studies have found that common fasting protocols may be associated with changes that aren't ideal for long-term metabolic health, including:
• Increased cortisol and disrupted cortisol rhythms
• Lower active thyroid hormone (T3)
• Reduced testosterone in men
• Loss of lean muscle in some studies
• No additional fat loss compared to eating regular meals in others
One study even found that resistance-trained men following a 16:8 fasting protocol for 8 weeks experienced reductions in active thyroid hormone and testosterone.
Another randomized trial found that participants following a 16:8 schedule lost muscle without losing more fat than the group eating three meals per day.
Research has also shown that regularly skipping breakfast may be associated with higher cortisol levels and disrupted daily cortisol rhythms, particularly in women.
And one large observational study involving over 24,000 adults found an association between regularly skipping breakfast and a higher risk of cardiovascular mortality.
Association doesn't prove cause and effect, but it's another reason I don't believe fasting is automatically the healthiest choice for everyone.
Does that mean intermittent fasting is "bad?"
No.
It means context matters.
If your metabolism is healthy, you're sleeping well, your hormones are optimized, and you're recovering well... you MAY tolerate fasting.
But if you're already dealing with fatigue, stubborn body fat, poor recovery, hormone issues, or chronic stress...
Adding another stressor may not be the answer.
This is exactly why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all nutrition.
I believe in understanding your physiology first.
That's why I always start with labs.
Comment GUIDE and I'll send you my free Metabolic Stress Marker Guide so you can learn the lab markers I use with myself and my clients.
Or comment LABS if you're ready to stop guessing and actually find out what's going on inside your body.
The redshirt is dead — and most programs aren’t ready for what that means.
Every scholarship now starts a 5-year clock the moment a kid enrolls or turns 19. No extensions. No medical freezes.
That changes recruiting, roster building, and player development in one stroke.
Birthday math is now part of every offer conversation. A kid who turns 19 before he steps on campus has already burned time. Coaches who ignore that will regret it.
The portal gets leaner but more expensive. Fewer players with extra eligibility means a smaller pool — and the ones in it will cost more.
The programs that win this era won’t be the ones with the most NIL money. They’ll be the ones who evaluate 17-year-olds better than everyone else and stop hiding developmental needs behind a redshirt year.
The margin for error just got really small. @jrichardgoodman@VinnysCorner1@SergeantMartee@BeholdPaleH0rse #portal #NCAA @latsondheimer@KasselMedia #recruits #eligibility #hssports #coaches #coach
Avoiding sunlight may be as dangerous as smoking.
A major Swedish study followed nearly 30,000 women for 20 years. Women with the highest sun exposure had significantly lower mortality from cancer, cardiovascular disease, and all causes combined.
The difference was so large that women who got the most sun but smoked had similar overall mortality risk to women who avoided the sun and didn’t smoke.
🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Trump officials Dr. Oz and Jim O'Neill just dropped a Minnesota BOMBSHELL: They found a former linen factory transformed into 400 Medicaid businesses to generate nearly half a BILLION DOLLARS
To repeat, 400 Medicaid businesses in one building. IT'S FRAUD!
"Why did no one in the state figure out this was a concern? Perplexingly to me, in a place of this nature, an industrial complex that people would not come to for child care or autism care or transportation support, how is it possible this could come up like an abscess in the heart of Minneapolis and nobody was watching?!"
"They generated about $380 million of billing that you, the taxpayer, were putting up. That means roughly each business had a million dollars of billing."
"It's an industrial area. There's no reason that you have a mother bring her child."
"You can't imagine getting extra business support. An autistic child probably wouldn't want to come here. You hear the noise. It's just not a hospitable place."
"The question is, how is it possible 400 businesses billing almost $400 million were able to thrive here?!"
"I think it's because they weren't looking. They didn't want to know that this problem was happening here."
"We're here to figure out why these folks are being defrauded. Why the people who live in Minnesota aren't getting access to the care they deserve because it's been stolen."
Is your Doc sabotaging your thyroid?
Most push Synthroid (T4) & Cytomel (T3), which are harsh & can compromise your thyroid output.
The smarter, natural solution is Desiccated thyroid (T1, T2, T3, & T4)
