You know, thinking about this, this sounds about right. My first Murakami novel was '1Q84', which I read two years ago, and whilst I enjoyed the surreal aspects of it quite a lot, the descriptions of characters could feel pornographic at times in ways that were rather offputting.

@_fraserford1 Formula 3 cars have onboard starters.
Formula 1 cars can use the hybrid to fire the engine back up, and have anti-stall.
IndyCar has fairly recently added a hybrid system, and has had anti-stall for a little while.

All these series manage it. Why can't Formula 2? It's baffling.

Because it's such a stupidly-organised series.

@Formula2 For the love of all that is good and pleasant, put anti-stall and/or on board starters on the cars already. We shouldn't be having a massive crash like we just had in this competition, and when F1 and F3 has something, there's absolutely no excuse to be behind the curve.
