🚨 This is exactly why the Global Cross-Border Digital Payment Ecosystem Alliance deserves more attention.

@OSL_HK just announced another real institutional stablecoin deployment, providing tokenization, custody and distribution infrastructure around USDGO.

Now here’s the part $NETX holders should really pay attention to:

OSL is already a member of the Global Cross-Border Digital Payment Ecosystem Alliance.

The SAME Alliance involving:

• NETSTARS 🇯🇵
• Onafriq 🌍
• Huifu 🇨🇳
• Pagsmile 🌎
• Finloop
• OSL 🇭🇰
• and other major payment and financial infrastructure players.

And NetX has already publicly stated that it supported the launch of this Alliance by providing underlying infrastructure for its Japanese partners.

That changes the way I look at this.

Because OSL is not just some outside company building stablecoin products.

It is sitting inside the SAME cross-border payment initiative as NETSTARS, Onafriq, Huifu, Pagsmile and Finloop.

Now look at what each side brings to the table:

🇭🇰 OSL: regulated digital asset infrastructure, custody, stablecoin liquidity and institutional settlement

🌍 Onafriq: massive African payment connectivity

🇨🇳 Huifu: acquiring and merchant payment infrastructure

🌎 Pagsmile: Latin American payment rails

🇯🇵 NETSTARS: major merchant acceptance and payment infrastructure in Japan

⚙️ WEA JAPAN / NetX: Web3 payment infrastructure on the Japanese side

This is where it starts getting very interesting.

Because NetX and WEA have already been building around:

Stablecoin settlement.
Merchant POS infrastructure.
Cross-chain payment routing.
Web2/Web3 connectivity.
Enterprise payment SaaS.

And now one of the companies sitting inside the SAME Alliance is actively building out regulated institutional stablecoin infrastructure and cross-border settlement capabilities.

That does NOT mean OSL is currently running transactions through NetX.

That has not been announced.

But it absolutely means these companies are no longer random names operating in different corners of the industry.

They are intentionally sitting inside the same initiative trying to solve the same problem:

How do you move stablecoin value across borders, route it compliantly, convert it locally and settle it to normal merchants?

That is the bigger picture.

Think about the architecture:

Africa 👉 Onafriq

Hong Kong / institutional stablecoin rails 👉 OSL

China 👉 Huifu

Latin America 👉 Pagsmile

Japan 👉 NETSTARS / StarPay-X / WEA

Underlying Japanese Web3 infrastructure 👉 NetX

That is exactly the kind of structure needed for a real global stablecoin payment network.

And again, I’m not saying every one of these rails is connected today.

I’m saying the pieces are now sitting at the SAME table.

That matters.

Because if these Alliance members begin connecting their regional rails to each other…

then this stops being about one stablecoin pilot or one merchant integration.

You start talking about the possibility of a real cross-border settlement network.

And if NetX becomes part of the infrastructure underneath the Japanese side of that network?

That is a completely different level of adoption.

No hype.

No assumptions.

Just watch the infrastructure and watch what these Alliance members deploy next.

[Jag @NetXJag]

The resonance between what is being built by @MidnightNtwrk and @WEA_JP shares a lot more synergy than may meet the eye.

WEA Japan finds it foundations from the founders of @netx_world with deep roots in trusted computing and infrastructure build out in China involving super large scale such as the CFLP (Chinese Supply Chain), Huawei and multiple Chinese banks, insurance companies and medical institutions.

The vision is quite simple; to make the web3 world actually infiltrate and immerse itself into current web2 systems, thus birthing what @anbangr coins “Web2.5”. The WEA play at surface level seems simple, to incorporate stablecoin payments directly into existing POS terminals. The real kicker is when this happens using existing wallet infrastructure and hardware without the need for a card provider or extra devices, just simply scan and pay. The system in the background protects data, ensures AML/KYC compliance and leaves the merchant with JPY in their bank accounts (no crypto knowledge needed), at the surface level it appears as a simple WeChat or PayPay style QR code payment.

The real exciting part is what Web2.5 allows. The chance to slowly introduce more and more Web3 features, imagine actually receiving cash back directly to your wallet without providing or filling out forms or signing up for a new loyalty card. Or receiving rewards and gifts that are personalised to you and your actual shopping history, now these airdrop straight to your wallet increasing shopper and merchant relations.

With Agent City now being built we can see the wider vision coming to life, as more and more blockchains, wallets and merchants enter the @NSS_StarPayX ecosystem. Soon we will see automated agents acting and procuring items for their owners in a completely safe and decentralised manner thanks to the Separation of Powers model described by Dr Anbang Ruan over a decade ago when discussing the emergence of Trustworthy, Reliable, Intelligent and Autonomous Systems which is exactly what we are witnessing as we spearhead into the AI era.

[Web3 @Godson444]

This is what stablecoin adoption at real stores can look like.

At TOKEN2049’s Midnight event, WEA Japan CEO Yoshi Bansho laid out the work behind bringing stablecoin payments to everyday retail: connect wallets and chains to existing merchants, POS systems and PSPs, while allowing merchants to receive yen.

The presentation showed Netstars’ scale... 15,000 connected merchants and 700,000 payment terminals... and two completed pilots: Haneda Airport in January and Lawson in August.

Commercial rollout is planned for this autumn.

The economics are tangible. The deck compared roughly 3% credit-card costs with WEA’s 0.98% model... about two percentage points in potential savings. Bansho’s example showed how some of that could become a shopper discount while the merchant keeps part of the savings.

Privacy was central to the presentation: give regulators the information they require while protecting retailers’ settlement data. WEA’s slide specifically explained why it is looking to work with Midnight. WEA has also described NetX technology as powering its stablecoin payment work.

Charles Hoskinson asked about Japan’s regulatory position. Bansho explained that the regulatory work was already done. Charles called the effort close to his heart, showed real interest, and made sure his chief of staff was there as they looked to explore it further. Dr. Ruan Anbang was also present.

That’s a promising moment... and a compelling look at the people, infrastructure and economics behind bringing stablecoins from crypto conversations to real checkout counters.

Watch the exchange.

👀🧐Here’s a first look at what’s taking shape.
A productized service connecting real-world #Web2 business systems with #Web3 stablecoin payments is steadily moving forward.

More progress is underway… stay tuned. 🚀

#NetX #Web3Payments #LetsGoNetX

[NetX @netx_world]

#NetX’s expanding business landscape is gradually forming a complete economic flywheel.⚡

Different business activities create clear demand for netx:native:

👥 Individual side: On-chain transactions, ecosystem participation, validator nodes and application deployment all generate corresponding demand for netx:native.

🏢 Enterprise side: When enterprises and institutions access network resources, integrate SaaS payment solutions, join intent pools or use other ecosystem services, they may be required to hold or lock netx:native to access specific products and features.
Integration fees, subscriptions and service fees are paid according to the applicable partnership agreements.

These activities create demand for the use, staking and locking of netx:native, while also generating real business revenue through stablecoins and other agreed settlement assets.

As more users, enterprises and projects join the ecosystem, a portion of business revenue will be used to buy back netx:native. The repurchased tokens will enter burn, long-term lock-up and DAO ecosystem funding mechanisms, supporting a sustainable economic flywheel. 🔄

Meanwhile, the NETX unlock schedule has been updated, giving the community a clearer view of the overall release plan.

Explore the infographic below👇 to see how business growth connects with the long-term economic flywheel of NETX.

👍 🎉Congratulations to #WEAJapan on securing another Japanese patent for its payment technology!

To move from patented innovation to adoption at scale, stablecoin payments need deeper integration across multiple stablecoins, blockchain networks, and existing Web2 business systems.

#NetX’s enterprise-grade payment #SaaS service is being developed to support these connections through standardized, configurable solutions—opening up more opportunities for both sides to expand into real-world commercial use cases.🤝

We look forward to deepening our collaboration and bringing stablecoin payments further into the existing business ecosystem.🌐
