We think of this evil as Marxism. In reality, Marxism is nothing more or less than the current instantiation of a much more ancient evil: possession by the envious and hateful spirit that drove Cain to murder his brother Abel.

The great book of Genesis thus portrays mankind as riven by an eternal fratricidal conflict.

Those who reject genuine sacrifice become embittered by their subsequent failure ("rejection by God").

Instead of repenting and changing, they turn to revenge.

And who do they target? Those who strive to do well and offer what is best.

I can't believe how much wisdom the author of Genesis 4 compressed into that story's few sentences. You might even come to believe that God Himself had a hand in it.

Truly: it's uncanny. The first two human beings born into history are, respectively, a good, honest productive man and his brother, who allows himself to be consumed by resentment and the desire to destroy.

With regard to "Judeo Christian":

The 10 Commandments are Jewish.

The great stories of the Old Testament are Jewish.

The Jews developed the idea of subsidiarity as the alternative to tyranny and slavery.

The Jews established the cultural preconditions for the rise of universal literacy.

The fate of Israel at the hands of the Islamists is the fate of the West.

This rising tide of anti-semitism sickens me. Those of you engaging in it for your oh-so-moral reasons—you're despicable.

And remember, you proud "Christians" objecting in all your purity to the term:

This is such a dumb statement on several levels.

You failed to mention that Israel’s military action in Lebanon has also further diminished Hezbollah, and actually brought about ‘space for diplomacy’. That’s how and why the direct talks took place. You also failed to mention any of the consequences of the Hezbollah attacks on Israel for many many years, just that they “must end”. How do you think such and end is brought about? Through your weird fantasy posts on X? You write it here and it’ll just happen? Abracadabra!

It’s embarrassing to see Britain reduced to this sort of meaningless drivel. What purpose does it serve? Who would be impressed by your post? Really, who?

It just broadcasts to our adversaries our own weakness, and our own lack of solidarity with our one-time allies fighting against Islamic terrorism. Will that deter attacks on UK interests?

At Golders Green today, The King reaffirmed his support for the Jewish community, following a series of antisemitic attacks.

During his time at the Jewish Care centre in North-West London, The King spoke to victims of the recent knife attack that took place in the area on 29th April 2026.

His Majesty also met community police force, Shomrim, who were involved in responding to the attacks.

There was something rather moving about King Charles' visit to Golders Green - or rather about the reception.
Everyone in the crowd who spoke to him seemed to say the same thing: thank you for coming and for doing all he does for our community. And how much they - we - love the UK.
What a contest with those who do nothing except scream how much they hate our country.
