Thank you Sara Wheeler @saradwheeler for your #point_of_view on radio 4 on the perpetual lockdown of those with mental incapacity. Both our adopted daughters are in the same predicament. They are the forgotten people, whose lives seem to have no meaning to the world.
Thank you Luned @LunedRhysParri for a fabulous workshop yesterday. A great start to Eisteddfod events @eisteddfod at @ffinyparc. It was so good to refresh my welsh for the day and be creative. Keep on inspiring us with your work.
“Extending #Vygotsky’s perspective, a socio-cultural perspective is offered, by considering the role of ‘others’, ‘language’, ‘activity’ and ‘identity’, as part of the process of sharing and understanding #feedback in classrooms“ https://t.co/7cCLGYg0Ea #assessment

It will be of no help to children with attachment disorders either ....again often these are children who are or have been in the care system, and who need support and help, not ‘crack down’
Really helpful explanation of why ‘crack down’ won’t work for children with foetal alcohol syndrome disorders. This pattern of developmental gap opening up over time mirrors my experience with one adopted child. It meant secondary school got tougher each year with ripple effects
Calling all professionals interested in #teaching, #pedagogy and #education innovations!
Submit your abstract by 7 May to showcase your research and good practice at a dynamic international forum in Beijing this November.

“I feel I came into teaching for all the right reasons... but am leaving for all the wrong reasons."
