AI can do much more than just your customer support agent. They can literally diagnose and fix it with your customer.
Today, I got an email from a user reporting a nasty bug on one of my consumer apps. Took the screen recording they sent over and the email, plugged it into codex, fixed it, and pushed it into prod. Customer Connie’s it worked. No fancy tool or insane automation. Just a drag and drop.
What a time to be alive 🔥
They say AI won’t come for blue collar jobs but that’s false. Last night I found a puddle of water in my basement. Was going to call a plumber but decided to drop some photos of the situation on GPT. Turns out my kitchen faucet had a loose spray head/hose. Twisted it back. Took a quick minute but saved $$ without the house call.
If you’re building in the space, I’d like to chat/invest.
Amex just dropped Agentic Commerce Experiences (ACE) — a full developer kit while everyone else is still publishing protocol specs. Five integrated services covering trust, intent capture, discovery, payments, and checkout. Being the issuer, network, AND acquirer in a closed loop really positions them well in the space.
But I'm skeptical of Agent Purchase Protection. Amex is promising to eat the cost when AI agents screw up. Research shows over 90% of LLM agents are vulnerable to prompt injection — what happens when a registered agent gets compromised after registration? And if consumers know errors are covered, what incentivizes anyone to set tight controls? Classic moral hazard.
In my experience, people are motivated by 4 main pillars. 1/ Sheer necessity 2/ Thrill of a challenge 3/ Deep love 4/ Pure pettiness.
Every accomplishment in my life was fueled by a combination of these motivators. Which pillars drive you the most?
Just saw final UX candidate for debit+ app. Very happy — thank you D+ crew, beautiful job. I am biased, of course, but I believe this product is going to really matter. Responsible access to non-revolving credit that’s easy to understand, FTW.
@cshapiro We want cars to be protected and safe with 24/7 connected security. But also a super modern and state of the art mobile experience. See @itsjupitercam. We hate car break-ins.
SF SMASH & GRAB: Thieves went on a smash & grab spree in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf around 7p Sat. The area is a popular tourist attraction that’s often targeted by criminals who hope visitors leave valuable items in their cars. Video sent to me by a follower @kron4news
@domestic415@SFCarBreakins Because of this, my friends and I are building https://t.co/34oESEzMS2. At least now you know when it happens and have video footage. This is insane. @itsjupitercam
@BettyKPIX @SFPD@LondonBreed@KPIXtv We're working on a smart dash cam that's going to immediately alert you and upload video recordings to the cloud when something like car break-ins or theft happen. Would be more than happy to tell you more about @itsjupitercam!

after watching a few videos of @garrytan I think you'll be doing yourself a disservice not watching them. For my newbies in tech, watch https://t.co/USGedRu5fj.
