@kriticalshotz@chris_sutton73 No, a pitch invasion doesn’t automatically equal abandonment. Under Law 5, that decision is the referee’s. The SFA/SPFL both confirmed the referee ended the match, not abandoned it, and it was already beyond the minimum 8 mins added time.
@bobjones656 What about the spirit of the game? Anyone with half a brain in their nut knows Celtic won that match fair and square. No one with any self respect would want to win on a technicality like that.
@ghostofSanFran Completely out of context, he slapped the fans phone out of his hand and stomped it into the park. Fan was trying to push him off his phone to stop him from destroying it.
@kriticalshotz@chris_sutton73 He was asking if McInnes and Hearts were throwing in the towel (which they did) or if he wanted to waste everyone's time clearing the pitch to play out a few more pointless seconds of a match that was already lost . . . seems like common sense and pretty clear to me.
@kriticalshotz@chris_sutton73 If it had happened at 56 minutes, they would have cleared the pitch and continued the game. The match was done, the referee asked if Hearts were happy to end there and they were.
Match officially ended by Robertson.
@ScottishFA Not one rational person would want this league won on a technicality; pure joy on the pitch at the end there. Not condoning it, but what a way to win a title and what a day. Anyone who was asking for the title to be taken away from Celtic is anti football and a real cheat.
Frankly I think it's incredibly selfish of all the other 99 year olds in the country not to be raising money for the NHS, and just expecting the government to "fund it properly".
