We are saddened to inform friends that our dear brother, Voddie Baucham, Jr., has left the land of the dying and entered the land of the living. Earlier today, after suffering an emergency medical incident, he entered into his rest and the immediate presence of the Savior whom he loved, trusted, and served since he was converted as a college student. Please pray for Bridget, their children, and grandchildren.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. – Psalm 116:15

To make our Sunday services more evangelical, we must saturate every element with the gospel: in our songs, prayers, and sermons. Otherwise, we imply the gospel isn't enough for salvation.
(Romans1:16)
This morning I overheard someone say, “God wants you to be the best that you can be."
If you believe this, please don’t.
God wants your best to be Himself.
Psalm 16:2
“I say to the LORD, ‘You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.’”
Today is Sunday March 24, 2024. A great day to not neglect the gathering of the saints. Get to church, friend. Be encouraged by the fellowship of believers and by the power of His word.
Tomorrow we are more than just gathering as fellow members of a local church. Rather we are gathering as a chosen race; a royal priesthood; a holy nation; a people for his own possession; to proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Parenting is cycling through four different onesies in less than an hour because of spit-ups. At what point do you say “Girl, forget it! You’re stuck like chuck!”??
“Even under intense affliction, a Christian can actually do more than cope; a Christian, Peter teaches, can actually profit from suffering. This is only true because Christians are the children of an omnipotent and loving Father. Even our trials are in his kind hands.” - M.Reeves
How the entire church serves in the music ministry.
Presence: Be there, be attentive, and be singing to the Lord and to one another. Let’s sing the excellencies of Him who has called us out of darkness into marvelous light.
“The hope that we have in Christ is not fragile. The hope that we have in Christ is real and is sure. Not one that can be stripped away from us.” - @JesseCrowley
Praise the Lord!
“At the foot of the cross, our sin is revealed—we are killed—God’s grace is revealed—we are brought to new life.”
- Michael Reeves
Daily gospel reminders are beautiful reminders.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
Today we sang Christ-exalting songs; sat under a refreshing sermon on Colossians 1:24-29; and had a special time of fellowship at lunch. All with our @PRCLife family.
Glad these sweet moments happen every week.
