Germany is paving the way for "crypto shares" 🇩🇪🚀

The German Ministry of Finance will soon introduce a "Future Financing Act" that will create the regulatory basis for the issuance of "crypto shares".

Stock corporations will then have the choice of issuing their shares as conventional shares (incl. paper certificate) or as electronic shares. Electronic shares can be registered either in a central register or in a crypto securities register (blockchain), giving rise to "crypto shares".

Issuing tokenized bonds and certain tokenized funds is already possible under the German eWPG law. Shares are the next big step forward.
